One of the worst inventions of all time!
Just chuck a quid or 2 in the jukebox!

It used to be 'Gold' by Spandau Ballet when Jones was still with us. That got banned in the same way that Simply the Best did as it sparked excessive fitba-related chanting on a Saturday night.
I've actually joined in with a couple of my mates with 'D'ya Wanna Be In My Gang?' - Can turn in to a wee bit of a riot when you've all had a drink and start tussling for the mic!
I'm currently going through a self-imposed karaoke exile though. I was out with a ladyfriend a couple months back and she managed to get me up singing 'Summer Loving' with her. Now she's got some set of lungs on her but I can't sing a note. It was videoed by a mate, and it's easily the most cringey thing i've ever seen. I've since indefinately banned myself from making an arse of myself on the karaoke.Last edited by .Sean.; 28-04-2011 at 09:15 PM.

Karaoke is marvellous.
I have been known to give a showstopping rendition of 'More Than This' by Roxy Music.

Being renowned worldwide for my Karaoke skills, Delilah ( Alex Harvey version) would probably be my adoring fans' favourite. After that we can perm any from a multitude:
Angels, Father and Son ( Cat Stevens version) Green Green Grass of Home, lots and lots but none of this modern stuff thank you very much!!!

just got back from doing a "gig", I stood in front of a mike for over 2hrs,with either a Les Paul,or a Fender Strat.....and most importantly, had a brilliant band to be part of !
spent the evening with a full pub, singing there hearts out to everything, from
Led Zep,Carly Simon,Cream,JJ Cale,Roxy Music,Deep Purple,Nancy Sinatra !,and a whole lot more.........and I'm a pretty crap singer.
get your asses in gear......get a band.........AND KEEP IT LIVE !!!
rant-ette over,still buzzing
