    Every gimmick hungry yob,
Digging gold from rock and roll
Grabs the mic to tell us,
    He'll die before he's sold.

A brave lady and a definite icon.

A lot of her words about music were spot on and she was absolutely right that the so-called female 'artists' of today...GaGa, Perry, Pink...their image means more to them than their music, to which she described as "instantly forgettable."

She described recently how she was walking slowly down the corridor in the hospice she was being looked after, when a Blondie song came on the radio and it made her so happy for that day. Music does mean a lot.

She was honest and decent, all one can ask from anyone.

    R.I.P. Poly.
