    Team for Wednesday

After today's performance I would go with this team to face St Mirren.

Crucial match and we simply HAVE to win :

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - M.Brown - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

    - - - R.Towell - - - - - - - - - - D.Stephens - - - P.Hanlon - - - - - - - - - - - C.Booth -

    - - - M.Thornhill - - - - - - - M.Scott - - - - - V.Palsson - - - - - - - - - - D.Galbraith -

    - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Byrne - - - Duffy* - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

*Providing Riordan is not fit to start.

Thoughts? Or am I as clueless as Yogi was?

Honestly thats a good team, if we have Rooney in by the deadline then have him start instead of Duffy

Good shout. If we got Rooney would be great. I think (pray/hope/look to the heavens) that the team has enough to beat St Mirren at home.

    Fingers and toes crossed.

Galbraith's runs scared...St Mirren will eat him alive if he starts.

the first half v St Mirren will not be a game for shirkers, so Galbraith from the bench at best for me.

Galbraith has had several chances and delivered nothing. Whether it's Miller or someone else who comes in, I wouldn't persevere with Galbraith.

    Wotherspoon / Murray / Hanlon / Booth

    Towell / Palsson / Miller / Thornhill

    Duffy / Nish

Please please please no more one up front it is doing nothing.

As an alternative I would perhaps change Murray and Palsson round.

    If Silverhibee is tuned in.

Is Deek liable to play on Wednesday?

Can't believe people want to throw Stephens into what is already a fragile and hugely inexperienced defence.

Granted Dickoh isn't the answer but we surely can't rely on a defence that has less than 50 SPL games experience between them to save us from relegation.

Seems a little odd that he has vanised two days before the end of the transfer window!!

Stephens RCB Byrne for Riordan Miller for Palsson and you have a team.
Thought Palsson was just a touch to slow in getting to ball also to get rid of same otherwise he did ok for first game.

Can't believe how many people are looking for Miller to start.
I wouldn't even have him on the bench!

Agree with Miller comment, nowhere near committed to the cause and wont put any tackles in......

Let miller play in a hole just between the midfield and the strikers. Harder to pick up and he can be creative in the area of the pitch where we need him to be.

3-5-2 formation with Booth/Towell dropping back if necessary? I know St Mirren often play 3-5-2 these days...

Surprised people have Galbraith in their side. Not suited to this level. May make it given time but not one to persevere with in these fragile times.
