Anyone ever used them, I mean are they any goood and if so which ones are the best, doing the xmas shopping online and thought some of these might be worth a browse for the odd gift.

You don't mean the bid sites where you buy bids do you? Stay well clear of them if you do.
The only real auction site I know of is ebay. Are there any other decent ones?

Yes, You buy bids, generally 50p to a quid per bid. Each time a bid is submitted the items generally increase by 1p. So winning something for 7.52 will have had an obscene amount of money spent on it. It's probably a good deal if you win but chances are skin I reckon.

It's even more of a rip off than this post suggests because they add, for the sake of argument, 30 seconds for every bid so it's not like you can wait until the final second to bid.
My dad was on one of them and got a really good deal on a tom tom but then wasted a lot of money on literally nothing. I told him it was a con but it took about 6 months for him to realise
