17 unanswered points has us in front, 24-16 - didn't see that at the end of the first quarter!

Denver have hit the self destruct button in this 2nd quarter! A routine punt away with 14 seconds to go and Denver spill the punt catch inside their red zone - 3 seconds to get a FG and 3 points to finish the half!

Did he really just say "excellent downfield coverage by the Patriots"?!?!?

Another superb 80 yard drive and a good run from Woodhead to get it done.

    Detroit 14-20 Oakland
    New England 34-16 Denver
    NY Jets 13-35 Philadelphia
    Cleveland 17-7 Arizona

Christmas Eve fixtures just announced on Sky for this coming Saturday:

    NY Giants @ NY Jets - 6:00pm
    Philadelphia @ Dallas - 9:15pm

Also a game on Christmas Day, which should be a "cracker" (I'll get my coat )

Chicago @ Green Bay - 1:20am (so Boxing Day really...) not sure which channel it'll be on, but I'd suspect Channel 4.

Absolutely brilliant day for the Seahawks. Destroyed Chicago (31-0 in 2nd half!) and all the other NFC wildcard teams look like theyre losing if they havent lost already. After starting 2-6 the team without an offense for 2 years could be going to the playoffs for the 2nd straight season

It gets stranger. We let them get back to 13-28, but now lead 38-10. This is how the season was meant to go for the Eagles when we made those high profile signings.

The benefit of being down in London is that I was able to go out and watch the whole game tonight at some NFL bar! I feared the worst in the 1st quarter when they scored the fumble recovery TD but Lynch was immense again and if the defence are switched on it's looking like a passing offense is extraneous!

I only watched the highlights but I love Marshawn Lynch. He must get regular post-game brain scans; ive never seen a running back break so many tackles with his head! Also his tenth consecutive game with a TD, a club record.

Welcome back defense - I was getting a bit fed up watching whoever the more successful impostors were over the past 2 quarters!

    Green Bay 14-19 Kansas City
    Cincinnati 20-13 St Louis

Oh how that sounds good. 9 out of 11. Lovely!

And the Jets lost as well... Perfect!

The 29yard sack was brilliant, why didnt he throw it away? Very poor from Tebow.

Pittsburgh 3-20 San Francisco, once the lights came on!

What a great weekend for New England - batter Denver to win the division, the Jessies get pumped in Philadelphia, Baltimore lose to San Diego and Pittsburgh get mauled in San Francisco - the losses for both AFC North leaders means that if we can win out the rest of our games, we go into the post-season ranked as the #1 AFC team!

    Carlsberg NFL weekend

Great weekend indeed! Will it be 48 or 49 years since the Jessies appeared in a Superbowl? I cant remember.

Colts have gotten plenty of help from the Ref tonight against the Texans. Fair play to Orlovski (sp?) who played pretty well but I thought the rest of the Colts were poor.

    Texans 16 - 19 Colts.

    What.A.Comeback!

First round playoff bye secured and a superb rallying performance, after what was an abysmal first half.

Superb early Christmas present, particularly with the Giants beating the Jets to add the cherry.

Good way to end the season with a win at an admittedly disinterested Dallas. Just got to take care of Washington next week.

My christmas present from my Dad was a Seahawks shirt with my signature 'McDonald 4' printing. Absolutely buzzing!
