Another 50+ yard FG in the Chicago vs Oakland game!

Washington take the lead in Seattle: 20-17.

Tebow steers the Broncos to OT vs the Chargers and they win the toss, with a chance to go for the win.

Chicago 20-25 Oakland - Final - Chicago's QB called for intentional grounding after a faked spike, resulting in a 10-second rundown, with 4 seconds remaining.

    What an idiot!

Denver vs San Diego continues in OT.

    Broncos win in OT!

That Bronco defence is something else and Tebow just does not turn it over. He had a nice run for a first down in the drive that led to the game winning field goal.

Who would have thought this Bronco team would be in with a chance to win this division just a few short weeks ago when they were 2-5?

Be interesting to see how the Texans cope, after their lead QB Leinart was knocked out of the game with a broken collar bone and is expected to now miss the rest of the season.

The Tebow train is picking up steam and the Broncos are now up to second, with the Chargers bottom of the AFC West and normal service is resumed with a Sunday completed with a Colts loss.

The AFC North is looking very strong indeed this year and it looks possible that 2 WC spots might go to the same division, with Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati all having impressive records.

The WC race in the NFC is also looking pretty tight, with a lot of clubs on 7-4 right now. San Francisco look almost uncatchable and I think they'll secure the division next week if they beat St Louis? Oh, and I'll be there to see it

Why is it that all spikes are not intentional grounding? What's the exact rule on it? Does it have to be immediately after the snap then?

Seahawks fair chucked it away last night. Looking forward to Thursday night though, confident of a good result. Misplaced optimism? Perhaps.

I think the ruling relates to formation setup.

For a spike, the formation isn't set up as a passing formation and the QB is under centre, but if he takes any step or hesitates looking for a pass, it's considered an attempt to get into passing formation, therefore counts as intentional grounding.

I'm not entirely sure of the specific technical boundaries between the 2 but any delay in a spike (which should be immediately after the snap) results in IG.

I'm still here, don't you worry about that . Thought I'd do the right thing and let you bask in your moment. Remind me, it was after all your first win in how many years and if you want to get carried away with a narrow win against the worst team we've had in many a year then fair do's. With everything that's gone on this year, this season was always gonna be a right off so if ever there was a time for you to beat us it had to now. You seem like a nice guy and I like you so don't begrudge you seeing your team win once in your life. Normal service will resume next year once we get sorted and Meyer get's his dream team in place. Don't you worry about that . Still $4 million a year seems a tad much.

Wow - I've only just noticed the Saints vs Giants score, as we suffered a family bereavement on Monday evening.

Quite a convincing performance and result in the end for the Saints, who look good to secure the NFC South in due course.

The NFC Championship is going to have 3 genuinely good contenders in Green Bay, New Orleans and San Francisco!

Likewise. For having what looked like such a poor offense I'm quite happy with 5-7. Lynch's first TD last night was unreal, I'd bet on him to run into a brick wall and come through the other side unscathed!

From an Eagles point of view that was painful. It's even too late to enter the "Suck for Luck" race.

Jackson was 13 of 16 and a TD. With him finding form and Lynch racking up 100 yard games week after week we might have a glimmer of a chance at a wild card. We're running out of healthy offensive linemen though.

FFS, another dropped punt. That's 6 turn overs on special teams this year . WTF has happened to our D? Our safeties really DO suck. Can't believe we are losing this game, thank god for Rex Grossman our we really could be in trouble. At least the Steelers are winning.

Tebow having another good game, broncos losing 14-15 to the Vikes in the 3rd. Raiders being thrashed so if Broncos can edge it they'll be top of the division.

Bears injury woes continue, RB Forte out with busted knee and theyre losing again.

Brady to The Gronk again... Ties him at the most TDs by a TE. Amazing.

Oh and Peytons face was priceless!
