I was going nuts watching the Dolphins game. 1st and goal with the 2 minute warning been and gone and we called 3 pass plays, got the score on 3rd down then missed the extra point to give the Chargers 90 seconds to get into field goal range with 2 time outs. Thankfully Fangio earned his money with a brave call on 4th and 13, a full blitz after barely calling a blitz all day and we got the stop.

I thought Tua looked very, very good. A couple of bad decisions, one of which was punished, but his release was super quick, he was accurate and he kept himself safe in and out of the pocket. If he can stay healthy then we will score a lot of points with the firepower we have on offence. Tyreek has said he wants a 2000 yard season and that wasn't a bad start last night.

brilliant throw zach wilson and brilliant catch in the end zone by garrett wilson to tie things with 5 mins remaining 13-13

FG Jets two mins remaining leading 16-13

two secs remaining Bills FG hits the upright and goes in 16-16

amazing overtime Jets win it with a 65 yard return from a bills punt for a TD to win 22-16

Aaron Rodgers only lasted 4 plays and has apparently done his achilles so talk is he is out for the season.
Catch for Wilson for the TD was incredible.
Got to say, do love the old Jets style logo on the helmets.

Shame for him, he usually had a decent O-line with GB but I still always feared the worst whenever he got hit. It's not that he's made of glass but he hes had issues in the past. That might be his career tbh.

Still a quarter to go but this is the first time for me watching the new look Packers live and I have to say they look decent, they might not be able to keep this up over the 18 games but it's a solid enough foundation to work from. The WRs are looking sharp and the defence looks solid enough . Love looks ready for the NFL, I just wish they would stop the Rodgers comparison, I know it's going to happen but it's boring already.

BTW well done to the NFL for keeping the pace of play at a good pace, college football is unwatchable at times.

    Lions divisional title.

Apparently a lot of trouble at the Jets v Cowboys game. Fights happening in different areas of the stadium and a few bloody faces.

There was bother before the Eagles v Vikings game as well and a video doing the rounds of a Bengals fan getting arrested then headbutting a Browns fan last week too.

A guy in my work is a Raiders fan and got threatened and chased out of a game in the Coliseum a few years back by his fellow fans for chatting to 49ers fans during the game.

Odd - is there any kind of rivalry there? I know Cowboys fans are pretty abrasive at times and rub a lot of fanbases up the wrong way, but never heard of widespread violence.

Definitely doubt it would be Jets fans instigating it - as much as we're big rivals, I've always found it pretty amicable (at a personal level anyway) and never encountered any real nastiness.

Struggling to get excited for the season - certainly the NCAA season - Stanford and UC Berkeley joining the ACC has utterly drained my interest. Money before athlete interest (both academically and sportingly). I've got a few of the football team in my classes and they're already worried about flying back and forth across the country and the impact it'll have on them.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

I must have missed the below story about Ryan O'Callaghan, formerly of New England and Kansas City:

17-11 now, feels a bit better. Too many individual errors. Hopefully they go away as the team settles.

What a turnaround, of course Carr getting injured helped but I'll take it. Just hope the defence can stop them again.

18 unanswered points in the 4th!

Classy from Mike McDaniel imo. We needed a FG to break the all time regular season points record and he called us to take a knee rather than send the kicking unit on. 70-20 is embarrassing enough for Denver without adding insult to injury by kicking an ultimately meaningless last second FG.

Not the only pasting being handed out today. Chiefs are 34 to the good with the second half just starting.

Perfect storm of the Dolphins offence being really good and the Broncos D being really, really, really, really, really, really, really bad. The rushing touchdowns in the 4th quarter very much looked like a team that had given up.

I've got Raheem Mostert in my Fantasy team, a cool 42.50 points. Also got the Bill defence which was another 32
