Goff far too late on that pass, should've been a TD. Good play by the safety though

Fantastic play from the defender there.

The receiver was wide open, Goff needs to be awake earlier.

    Left by mutual consent!
This game is like watching Mourinho play Mourinho with both teams somehow being away from home.

While Edelman was great and clearly the MVP, it sticks in the throat a bit that a drugs cheat can come back after a 4 game ban and win Superbowl MVP in the same season.

Yes, I am bitter about the pats winning....

Fell asleep after the first quarter. Not seen much else but didn't look like a classic.

I stayed up and am now paying the price
It was interesting to see a defensive game like that can still take place these days. A real tactical masterclass from both defensive units. The difference was the Rams not having a slot guy like Edelman. (CooperKupp injured).

yeah i like a defensive game but it sounded a bit frustrating, i read that Goff was 0/8 on 1st downs at one point. I'm just basing my opinions on the fact that most people are talking about being disappointed not to see Spongebob more than the actual game

I took today off of work as i knew id be knackered this morning.

I disagree that it wasn’t a classic: defensive masterclasses by both sides and although we didn’t score much, i thought our offense kept trudging along. Edelman is without a doubt my favourite player. He’s an absolute beast.

To answer the earlier question about getting to go to this game, I cannot even guess how expensive it would be now. I went to 2001 with a family member who’s a ST holder at Gilette and a successful businessman in Rhode Island with the connections to get us to the game. I was bloody lucky.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

I think there were a few empty seats in the stadium last night. Not sure if that was down to pricing or not. Apparently the prices for food and drink were ridiculously cheap in the stadium as well.

Yeah, the Falcons seem to have put some good family friendly pricing in place, and I think the concessions maintained the same structure for the Superbowl. $5 for a hot dog and a drink!

Yes the owner refused to raise the prices from normal. Good chap. I imagine they sell more at lower prices so probably don't lose out much!

    Roll on the Draft now.

Broncos are in 10th, can see them perhaps trading up to try get a QB.

So what started as a wind up has ended in a full blown competition... Me and the boys from the pub have AAF teams, we've all ordered team shirts, we've booked the pub for the championship game and there's money on it all...

And my team lost the opening game

Memphis Express Vs Birmingham Iron is streaming on YouTube right now if anyone is interested! Great to have something to fill the football void, I've got friends in Memphis and have visited a couple of times so Memphis may have to be my AAF team...
