It was indeed. Blame Bollah - I hadn't checked the NFC schedule for this week. I only knew we were tomorrow early, meaning the Chiefs were yesterday early.

Blowout win for Kansas City and a comfortable progression for LA.

Chargers and Saints progress tonight for me, unless the snow has continued falling in New England...
The Ram's were outstanding last night. Hoping for an Eagles win tonight to set up home field for the Rams next weekend.

It's being reported Patriots linebackers coach (and defensive playcaller) is set to be named the new Dolphins HC. Any of our resident Pats fans got any thoughts on him?
Well considering how one dimensional our D has looked all season I wouldn't get too excited

Nice to see the Cowboys home for the winter, my bad I got the rams and saints confused.

Patriots playing January ball. 28-7 lead.

A better acquisition than Patricia was for Detroit. Knows his schemes and has superb ability, especially when dialling up blitzes.

Cold weather has definitely been our friend here. We look sensational on both sides of the football.

Honestly, I don't know why you are so negative about your chances EVERY season? Every year you say you're going to struggle but yet again you're cruising into the AFC championship....

I'm usually a very excited a positive Patriots fan but all season our D has given up stupid yards, stupid penalties.

But playoff patriots are a different animal.

I watch us enough to see our deficiencies?

Our secondary has been garbage all season but it appears to have turned a corner in recent weeks.

We’re masters at conceding big yardage plays when we find ourselves in 2nd or 3rd and long situations. Primarily because our safety’s are both pretty hopeless.

I remember the days before we skooshed so many games. For us old-school NE fans, pessimism is engrained!

Yeah I guess if you aren't one of the 90% of Pat's fans who started following them since the millennium then I can sort of understand it more...

You always seem to start poorly and then turn it on in time for the playoffs. Brady just interviewed and sounds angry, exactly how you want him IMHO, they think everyone thinks they are rubbish.

Should be a cracker next week.

What a start for the Eagles! BD Nick is running the game again, need to get another score on this drive as the saints will come back firing!

  12. #10571
That's a rubbish call. There's no way the eagles recovered that and fumbled it. Thankfully they can review it.

You can't run the ball so far. Every playoff game so far the team runs the ball best wins. Not looking good.

You are looking ominously good offensively now, Eagles need a huge response.

And we've done nothing on offense since the 1st quarter. Superdome sound levels are incredible!

Well... I'm feeling very comfortable now Eli and Foles are out...

Game over. No way we're stopping the Saints getting a 1st down now.

Two big sacks. Suh and Donald have been immense of late. Fascinating game so far.

I wanted the Rams to win, but that was a horrible no-call on the pass interference when the saints were in the red-zone. If that had been called the saints probably would have run the clock down and taken a chip shot field goal to win the game. I don't know how the refs missed that!

Dreadful call by the officials and that was the game there as you say. If I was a Saint's fan I would be spewing.

Now we have a game at Arrowhead too!

Great game! Depressingly familiar outcome... Brady just needs to retire already and give someone else a chance of winning something!

Win in two weeks time, and I wouldn't at all be surprised to see Brady, Gronk and Belichick retire, with McDaniels stepping up to Head Coach.

Utterly stunning win last night. What a superb game of football. On coffee number 3 already.
