Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Almost 4 interceptions. Is that a record?

Picked up a signed ball and helmet from melvyn Gordon and Nigel Harris promised me a shirt off the back (I promised him a bottle of Macallan 18 each sack he gets and he was close today). It makes me feel guilty having so much fun while each game has been a defeat, but we pay to watch not to win.

Saints actually win a game. Blowout away to the Panthers.

So excited for Wembley next week now. Play like that and we will win.

Yep the Dolphins looked poor against the Jets so I'm confident we will score points

Palmer and Fitzgerald are on form early this game... Unlike the Cowgirls who, frankly, look pony.

I'm getting REALLY hacked off with the NFL's social media pages just now (either the NFL, NFL Memes, teams/players).

They're absolutely swamped by morons incessantly barking on about kneeling, disrespect, boycotts etc.

It's the efforts to disguise their objections as 'disrespect' that's bothering me. That's not the reason at all, because otherwise you'd be bothered that the flag is strewn out horizontally across the pitch in the first place.

Let's stop pretending your objections are based on anything other than race, wave cheerio to you as you 'stop following' the league/your old team (good for you, you can light a fire), and good riddance!
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Same here. It seems like there's an orchestrated campaign of online deluge going on. Literally thousands of rightwing tweets, Facebook comments etc. It's fascinating in a way; this is the way that politics gets done these days. But of course it's about race, that's what CK was doing when all this started, drawing attention to police brutality, racism and poverty, but now everyone's talking about 'anthem protests' like people are anti anthem or anti military, when that has the square root of f all to do with the issues being protested against.

Seahawks net doesn't allow any political talk now because of the inability of people in the US these days to disagree amicably. You can understand why.

No, not even close. 4 or 5 interception games are quite common. I remember watching Steve Deberg throw seven once. The record is 8 back in the 1950s.

I was supposed to be but a new baby scuppered the plans

I'm 1-2 with Miami at Wembley and have yet to see a good game. The Giants games was one of the worst football games I have ever seen in our 1-15 season, we beat a poor Raiders side and were utterly abysmal against a pretty poor Jets team a couple of years ago. Hopefully me missing out will be the spark for both a decent game and a decent Dolphins performance.

You shouldn't do, I'm pretty sure it's designed so you shouldn't.

EDIT: Wembley has a retractable roof that makes sure every seat is covered.

Watching the Bears vs Packers highlights: if that Bears defender (Trevathan?) doesn't get a lengthy ban for his ludicrous helmet hit , the Bears should severely hammer him. Absolutely disgraceful hit. Packers receiver was KO'd on impact.

On the plus side, Jordy Nelson had himself a night! Sadly, I came up against the QB throwing to him in my fantasy matchup!

I've no idea what Trevathan was thinking with that one. Devante was wrapped up by 1 or 2 other Bears and was going absolutely nowhere. Helmet to helmet on a defenceless player. Player and team should be hammered to discourage these type of hits as much as possible.

I think it was myself you are up against this week then. Forgot to switch Cobb back into my lineup. He got 10 points which puts a little bit pressure on my other WRs to perform this weekend so I don't regret it too much!

If you're the chap with Rodgers (QB) and Bennett (TE), then it sure is!

Wow. I've just watched the hit, it's downright evil. And I normally castigate the league for being too sanitised and safe. That's a personal foul and possibly a straight ejection from the game in any era.

Yeah that hit was well out of order, hopefully he will get a suspension.

    Just saw the hit. Wow.

Red mist and then some, proper shocker.

Good opening drive so far by the Dolphins albeit with about 500 penalties.

**** sake, cursed that. Great defensive play tbf although not excusing Cutlers misplaced throw and Thomas lack of challenge.

  31. #9150
What a terrible, terrible game of football. Penalties on just about every play, no momentum and barely a big offensive play worth talking about.
