Lots of pace in your receivers and RBs last night - they'll cause teams problems.

Your secondary look weak though - Indiana picked them apart in the first half and continued getting success in the second half.

We start on Saturday against Florida, which will be a challenging proposition!
Haven't watched it yet because of the early/late kick off time. Was planning on watching it tonight but forgot the Scotland game was on so will probably just check out the highlights when I get in. Probably flick in and out of your game tomorrow to see what's happening, hopefully be a good game with a Florida win and you guys playing catch up already

I didn't watch your game live or anything - just clocked extended highlights this morning.

I didn't even realise Scotland were playing tonight...such is the depth of my interest in football at the minute

It's alright - if Florida do manage to beat us, we'll make it up by humping you lot in Ann Arbor on November 25th
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

I'll tell the jokes. Reminds me of this old classic.

Q: What's the difference between a porcupine and Ann Arbor?

A: The pricks are on the outside of a porcupine

Well pleased with that trade! Jets send DT Sheldon Richardson to Hawks for WR Jermaine Kearse and a 2nd round pick in 2018.

I liked Kearse, local kid undrafted but I think we got the best of that deal.

The asset stripping continues in New Jersey.

Kearse is a reasonable WR - but you could put the best WR in the league in that Jets team, and it won't make a blind bit of difference with who's throwing to him/making space for him.

The Jets will be interesting to watch this season.

Seattle now has pro bowl calibre players in every position on Defence except for the second corner opposite Sherman. If it all clicks we could be scary again. Great fantasy pick.

I always have a mixed response to week one, on one hand there is some college football to watch on the other hand there is usually a blow out.

This one might be good though.

Great start to the game, Florida D looks very strong, two well matched teams. Controversial call on 4th down at the goaline goes against Michigan, 3-3 after the opening drives.

The Florida QB is 6'5 and the Michigan QB is 6'6
    Is that a record?

Since when is it a penalty to spin the ball?

    Pick 6 now 10-10

Back to back pick six lol, this is worse than me on madden.

A blocked punt now, college football is back! I just wish they showed that Texas game earlier.

The spinning the ball thing don't get me started. They are ruining the sport with these nonsense penalties. 15 yards is ridiculous.
New QB on for Michigan losing 17-10.

    It's ludicrous

    17-13 to Florida at HT

Good game so far, I wonder how Florida would have done without all the suspensions though.

I'm a little surprised Michigan seem to be without a decent QB.

I wish they would cut the length of the game a bit though that took about an hour and a half!

A classic game of two halves! Superb shutout in the second half from our D and the offense FINALLY got it going.

In other news, we've (New England) traded Jacoby Brissett to the Colts for Phillip Dorsett (WR, and #1 pick in 2015).

This is cool. Probably the one position on the field where its possible to be as effective as everyone else

I note they'll be using him again when the situation is right, so not just a one off.

Brock Osweiler released by Browns and signed by Denver. Joe Webb (who?) Signed by the Bills as backup QB. Colin Kaepernick still unsigned...

I know that Osweiler is a cheap option (Browns have to pay over £15m of his £16m salary this season, but seriously with the D Denver has and players like Thomas and Sanders they'd have a serious shot at the Superbowl this year with Kaepernick. Peyton Manning managed to take them to a superbowl while not being able to throw a pass over 10 yards accurately...

Yeah, I'm aware we have kind of discussed this to death, but it really makes me angry on his behalf. Great article below, which points out that when and if a team does sign him it shouldn't be held up as a symbol of progressive, modern attitudes just because they're doing what is normal behaviour. 34 relative nobodies signed at QB this off-season already remember.

And with apologies to Gatecrasher...one of the great performances ever. I still remember watching it amazed.

Things like this are really heartwarming, nice to see some happy news now and again. Well done to all, especially that young man on not giving up on his dream

Yeah I may have mentioned it a couple of times before.... It makes me angry as well, he's by no means elite, but he's certainly better than at least 10 of the starting QBs in the league, even based on last season which was poor by his standards. That playoff run was incredible and he almost won the 49ers a superbowl.

It's a disgrace that he's not got a team IMHO and all the pundits who defend the teams who don't sign him with daft excuses are so weak and spineless to not just come out and say why he's not getting signed.
