Completely deserved by Atlanta. Absolutely flawless from them and very poor from us.

How? Just how? How did he do it, how did the Pats do it, how did Atlanta choke it away in such spectacular fashion?

I'll leave that until tomorrow, when I've rested and I'm not running on sheer adrenaline

Dear Lord. What a game. I am still completely confused and shocked by that last quarter.

You have also made the achievement of "second to five" after the Broncos were "first to five".

Were they? Pretty sure Pittsburgh would have been first, seeing as they have 6?

Really? I just remember the Cowgirls winning a 5th but I don't watch much throwball. So you are not even 2nd to five!

I need to google Super Bowl "winningest" teams.

    And f*** the Penguins.

I remember thinking the same thing after a superbowl (xx I?) in the late 80s when Montana had a ridiculous comeback against the bengals. 'That's it, he must be considered better than Unitas now'. Last year of course the US sports media was telling us it was Peyton Manning

I said that at 21-0, it got worse than that for the pats.

I still can't believe it, before the game I was rooting for the Falcons but thought the pats would edge a close one, but the way that panned out was unbelievable! The Falcons just fell apart in the fourth quarter and the pats suddenly turned it on! Edelmans catch was ridiculous! What were the Falcons thinking calling pass plays in field goal range with 4 mins left, they lost 25yards and the chance at a field goal to take that game to 2 scores. Brady was immense in the 4th quarter!

Some of the play calling was ridiculous. Just be conservative when you have a lead Ffs!

I am so tired this morning...

But holy **** was that worth it! Was dejected at half-time, and even more so when we went -25, but if you trust anyone to turn that around, it's Tom Brady!

Utterly elated and running on a combination of coffee and adrenaline!
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Football 101. Up 25 with 4 mins left.

Run, run, run. Kick. Go home with the lombardi.

    Dan quinn blew it.

Went to sleep at the end of the 3rd quarter because 'this is over'.

    Smart move....

I can kind of understand their thinking, they've not played like that all season and it has worked well. BUT, they have to play the situation in this case, the Patriots were on a crazy comeback and had pulled things back to within 1 score. As you say, all they needed was three runs and a field goal, they didn't even have to make any yards after a ridiculous catch from Julio Jones. Run the ball, run the clock down, kick the field goal and go two scores up and that probably ends it.

It's on a par with the Seahawks call to pass the ball instead of give it to Beast Mode at the end of the Superbowl two years ago.

The booing for Goodell was good to hear though....

I think some coaches (certainly the case with Darrel Bevell in 2014) just get overexcited. Keep it on the ground and grind it out.

Just woke up, still can't believe it . Was giving it large all night and then that happens lol. Had a great night though and at least I didn't end up on here in what would have ended up in me making a fool of myself (again) .

Amazing game. As a saints fan the first 3 quarters were horrible to watch. Couldnt have wanted the falcons to blow it any better than that.
