Well done Sergio, called all 4 results correctly.

For both championship games I see the away team causing an upset, Packers and Steelers to progress to the superbowl.
Given your track record thus far, I'm happy you're going against us

Play at our best level and we should be too much for Pittsburgh, but we'll need to play better than we did against Houston.

I fancy Green Bay will beat Atlanta, and I hope we'll be joining them in the Superbowl. However, both NFC teams are red hot, and I'm not sure either us or Pittsburgh will have enough for them.

So glad the cowboys are out, now I can enjoy the rest of the playoffs.

I'm going for an Atlanta vs Steelers Superbowl.

Packers v Falcons will be a shootout, but I think that the Falcons better run game will mean they will squeeze past the Packers. It almost is too close to call though. I'm rooting for the Falcons so that I can say I went to see them in their superbowl season...

Steelers v Pats will be another close game and I fancy the Steelers to just edge it even though the Pats have had a better season. It all depends which Steelers team turn up as they have been ridiculously inconsistent this season. On their day they are a match for anyone both on offense and defense.

Looking forward to both games, they should both be cracking.

Oi! I'm 6-2 in the playoffs! My preseason tip of Arizona didn't go so well but Pittsburgh is still in it. Your Patriots are just so consistent season to season, I do think you've been a bit lucky not having to deal with a really good team coming through in the AFC East at any point in the last ten years, but you can only beat what's in front of you and it's been an amazing run of success. Only a fool would bet against you. Hence I'm doing so

So Beast Mode has been spotted in Paisley doing wheelies on a skittles BMX and nearly hitting a bus.

I have no idea why he's over here or why he's playing chicken with a bus but it is extremely funny.

If it was a local from Paisley he wouldn't be a legend he would be an idiot, which on this occasion, is exactly what Marshawn Lynch is.

It's surprising as LV always resisted having a pro sports team as it would distract people from the casinos etc.

I guess the city of Oakland can afford a new stadium?

Feels like the Raiders are determined to move, not convinced that LV was a preferred destination, just an option, that has been pushed Higher in the pile when the Rams got the first crack at LA.

Not it sure if LV will fully embrace a pro team, may get more 'out of city' visitors taking in a game proportionately than most other teams.

Have to have a wee bit sympathy for football fans in St Louis, San Diego and Oakland, their teams' owners have shat on them imo.

Woody Johnson, owner of the team that cannot win, is going to help America 'win again', by being appointed ambassador to the UK....

Oakland sports fans are some of the most passionate around IMHO and one of the things about the Raiders is that the brand always seemed to mesh with the people of Oakland.

Golden State Warriors are also moving out of Oakland, ok it is just across the water into San Francisco, but it is still a move away from their traditional fan base.

The owner is going to pay a $650m relocation fee to go to a smaller market. Why doesn't he just use that money to build a stadium, it might not be as flashy as the new Falcons stadium, but it would be a good stadium and would show some loyalty to the Raiders fans.

Can he, bearing in mind the Athletics also use the same stadium?

Facing Aaron Rodgers anything is possible, but this would be something miraculous to turn this around. The Falcons look unstoppable on offence.

And as I type, Julio Jones goes 73 yards for a TD, got to be game over!

Playing like this, the Falcons will equally destroy Pittsburgh or New England. They've been phenomenal on both sides of the football.

    So... it's the Falcons...

  27. #8606
The injury to LeVeon Bell hasn't helped, but the Pats are just too good for the Steelers.

Falcons V Patriots superbowl it is. Based on tonight, I can't see past the Falcons to be honest but it is the Patriots and they usually find a way to win.... Best scoring offense in the NFL vs the best scoring defense. Should be quite a game!

We had a few ineffective possessions in the Red Zone that could have made that a much more comfortable margin in the end. Chris Hogan was like a man possessed last night! Our defense looks so solid against both the run and the pass, and it should be a good game in Houston, as Atlanta were clinical again last night!

We're two very different sides: they're a powerful offensive unit, but they rely on the same options a lot of the time - I reckon if you can keep Sanu and Jones quiet, and get good pressure on Ryan, they're there to be beaten. We have such a diverse suite of weapons at our disposal in Edelman, Amendola, Bennett, Hogan, Mitchell, White, Blount, Lewis...if our defense can do what they've done all season (even though we've not faced a team as good as the Falcons yet), we'll have a great shot.

I'd utterly love to see us win another one, no doubt about it (it would be such a massive **** you to Goodell), but I wouldn't grudge the Falcons their first after the season they've had. Would be a great way for them to open their new stadium, by concomitantly unveiling their first banner.

Matt Ryan has used 8 different receivers in each of their last two games. They have two excellent RB's and a couple of good options at TE.

Jones, Sanu, Gabriel, Freeman, Coleman, Robinson, Hooper, Toilolo, Tamme and Hardy all have more than 200 receiving yards in the regular season.

Keeping Jones and Sanu quiet is good in theory, but when they have been kept quiet this season in the same game (not happened often), either Freeman, Gabriel or Coleman has gone and picked up the slack in receiving yards.

It is going to be a cracking game, the big difference between the teams will be the Patriots previous experience. There's no way of knowing how the Falcons will react to the biggest game of them all.
