Not the best of games, but a great experience at Ole Miss!

On to the Georgia Dome tomorrow to watch the Falcons then back to Memphis to see the Grizzlies on Monday night.

That's the toughest loss I've experienced in a Michigan vs Ohio State game.

Some utterly ludicrous officiating calls, none more so than the one on 4th and 1 - the officials knew full well calling that correctly, there would have been a riot - he could not have been across the plane, because his own blocker was on the line, in his way - an atrocious decision.

Not to mention the non-PI call against them in our second OT drive, or the PI call against us when the ball was well beyond their receiver that resulted in extending their drive and tying the game!

We made mistakes, but we stepped up when it counted and did our job. Just a shame the officials didn't do theirs.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

It looked to me from the replays that the ball crossed the plane, if you watch it you'll see the ball gets extended above the blockers backside which seems to be over the plane.

I loved how your angry sweary post from last night disappeared and this more measured one has appeared in its place

Arizona losing again. Falcons looking like they're 'for real'.

  9. #8468
What a stupid situation to get into. Clinging on to a 1 score lead against the 49ers having been comfortably in control.

A wins a win but plenty to work on ahead of the Ravens next week.

Managed to get a live stream from Tampa on my phone for the first time but the Buccs are unaccountably beating Seattle 14-0 early doors. Mike Evans destroying Sherman early on Any given Sunday etc etc...

Shocking display on both sides of the ball. Lucky the rest of the division is playing the same way, still a 3 game lead over Arizona.

Nice win for the Saints yesterday. Take that Greg Williams.

Falcons were excellent on both sides of the ball. After watching a college game live on Saturday and an NFL game live yesterday, the difference in play is huge. The speed of the NFL is so much higher and the players are a massive step up. The atmosphere was better at the college game though. There were thousands of empty seats in the Georgia Dome yesterday.

Delighted we are currently sitting in a wild card spot but think we will just miss out this season as we have a tough run in.

    Ravens
    Cardinals
    Jessies
    Bills
    Patriots

Plenty positive progress though and we should be right in the mix next year.

Rumours going about that jags vs ravens is one of the London games and there will be 4 next season. Based on that game and dolphins vs Saints I'll be saving some money next year.

  21. #8480
Yeah Jags V Ravens doesn't seem to be very appealing. Hoping for another Broncos appearance myself.

Unless its the Jets playing, doubt I'll be back at Wembley again for an NFL game.

I think that's a major problem they're facing now. The novelty is wearing off just seeing any old team.

Cowboys win again! They're looking good in the NFC and now have their bye-week to rest up some players.

Dallas vs New England/Oakland on current form!

And the Madison Dodgers high school football team are the state champions!

Roll out to the right, hits the receiver on a cross route and a huge block downfield to win the game with 15 seconds on the clock!

Gronk out for the rest of the season. One of the most gifted and unlucky players in the NFL!

Id forgotten how annoying the Cowboys are. I much prefer it when they're losing, this current team is looking ominously like the Troy Aikman/Emmitt Smith/Michael Irvin generation.
