Wow. Amazed Brady didn't take the FG there with 6 minutes left.

Great season at the end of the day, considering the injuries that happened. Shame the Patriots O Line decided not to turn up, don't think I have seen Brady get hit so much.

Apparently hit 23 times tonight? Ridiculous however fair play to the Broncos.

Although to be fair to Falsom, not many others in the media had Cam as an elite QB at the start of this season either. He looked like hed taken a step back last year. I had the Panthers down as 'No Running backs, no WRs, Unpredictable QB, really good linebacker, that's it' and predicted they'd finish bottom of the division.

Well done to Denver and Carolina. Best teams won on the night and over the course of the season, both deserve to be in the Superbowl.

Part of me is glad we didn't make it as that Panthers team would have slaughtered us, just like they'll slaughter the Broncos.

Ah well, 5 weeks til Spring Training gets underway
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Bronco's defense were very very good last night, if they can reproduce that in the superbowl then they have a chance, but the way Manning is playing I just can't see them having enough to win it. They won't be able to hold the Panthers to less than 20 points like they did to the Patriots.

Felt sorry for Manning last night in a way as he is a shadow of his former self. The defense were awesome but the way Cam and the Panthers are playing can't see Denver getting close.

    Broncos D came to play.
Should have taken the FG and I thought that at the time but hindsight is 20-20.
What a time to miss a PAT.
The Pats need to address the run game. Even with Lewis back next year, we need someone else. Beast Mode? :-)

The injuries before the playoffs cost us homefield which I think would have helped enormously.

Still, another good season at the end of the day.

We've seen dominant defenses win championships so many times, I wouldn't write off the Broncos. The Superbowl is a one off, the Panthers won't have experienced the pressure.

I'm going for an upset, Broncos by 13.

The difference is the Panthers have a running game - Jonathan Stewart (when healthy) and, of course, Cam himself. The Pats had zero run attack which allowed the Broncos D to contain us pretty easily. Brady got hit over 20 times. That was the most times a QB has been hit all year and the most for several years. He can't play the game from his butt. Where the Panthers are weaker is in the passing game but it's not like they don't have a passing game so the Broncos will have to play this one differently. I see the Panthers winning this quite handily and after watching the Pats after they were 10-0 (on the season) I don't really think we would have a chance in the SB barring something weird happening - couple of scores on D for example.

My problem with the panthers is the hardest game they Had this year was the Packers who played like crap, they don't seem to have played a Denver, New England, Concinatti or Arizona on form type of team. I'll take you up on that pint though .
