Sad to see the Saints release Pierre Thomas. One of my favorite players ever.

A bit gutted about that, and with Ingram likely gone too we are definitely going through a transition period

I'm hoping Thomas might end up in New England - a successful pass-catching back who has great numbers...

I was originally a bit worried when I seen 'Marshall to the Jets' until I remembered that it would be still be Geno Smith throwing the ball to him. Trading Cutler for Smith? They must be offering a LOT of money.

Reckon Harvin could end up in New England too as Belichick is a fan.

Ingram staying at saints, would have took him in Philly really liked him last season.

Cobb getting 40M over 4 years, Maclin rejected 9M per year...Can't see him being back.

Also Eagles showing strong interest in Gore on short deal.

I see the Jets RB Chris Johnson was shot in Orlando last night.

Thankfully only his arm and he seems to be recovering in hospital...

delighted the Saints have kept Ingram, prior to his breakout year last season he had been looking like a 1st round pick bust, we finally played a system that played to his strengths and gave him workhorse like carries that he thrives on, still a young guy and hopefully more to come from the former heisman trophy winner just need to resign one of either Evans or Grubbs now as i wouldnt like to enter the new season with 2 new guards holding the O-line together.

That's a huge shame, at least he never moved for the money unlike some players *cough* Maclin *cough*

Delighted McCourty is returning next year. He would have been a huge loss.

    Now hopefully for Revis...

He did say that he would take less to stay at New England. It just depends on how low will he go. I sometimes wonder about players who make moves from good teams to not-so-good teams. Some people are driven by success, others by money.

He said the same stuff before. Agreed with Rex to come back to the Jets only for the gm to poo-poo the deal and he ended up with your lot.

This has been quite a busy period with a lot of big names changing hands, it's not usually as mad as this is it?

I'm genuinely not intending to be disparaging with this but does that genuinely surprise you?

He's getting toward the latter years of his career and he was never going to win a Superbowl by going to New York.

Rumours are that Cleveland have stepped into the race with a view to him going there.

The more it goes on, the more I think he'll be playing elsewhere next year but his service last season was instrumental.

Looks like Shane Vereen is on his way out too with the Giants interested in him.

Colts look like they've made 2 good signings in Andre Johnson and Frank Gore.

Amazing stuff. Obviously delighted. Sad to lose Max Unger but can't wait to see what shape our offense takes this year. Wow.

If you'd have given me my perfect trade for Seattle it would have been this one. We've not had a good TE for years, and that position is key for Russells read option. And he's the best player in the league in his position (sorry Pats fans but he just is). Added to that his name is an analgam of my name and my sons and it is daydream stuff.

Its fair on the surface, Unger heads the other way with a first round pick, we get Jimmy and a 4th round pick. Unger is a probowler so it makes sense for both teams. But still, an all pro tight end is worth a lot more than an all pro centre in the modern game. How Schneider pulled this off ill never know.

I go off line for an hour and all the action happens! Bradford to the Eagles?! Graham (second best TE in the league) to seattle?!

Some of the decisions are based on the salary cap but this last week of do has been a bit nuts.
