ESPN's writers are so bad, it's hard to follow fully what they're trying to get at.

So, unless I'm misreading it, McNally tried to pass an unauthorised football onto the officials, which in turn had been passed onto him by an NFL employee...

That's all fair and well but it still doesn't answer when/how the ball was inflated?
I have two issues with this new development re: the kicking ball:
    1. There was never any issues reported with the kicking balls.
    2. The kicking balls are shared by both teams. Any advantage / disadvantage of an unauthorised kicking ball would affect both teams, unlike the non-kicking balls which are used by one team and one team only.

I see we're being linked with taking Harvin from the Jets!

Eagles clearing salary cap space and getting what looked like a good young LB, Bills picking up a big name RB while only shipping away a player that didn't play in their very good defence last year, win win for both by the looks of things!

(As a Giants fan I'm also happy Shady has left the NFC East)

I genuinely think Rex Ryan can build a great team up there in Buffalo - he's a good coach, despite his lack of success in New Jersey.

I'm happy we've secured Gotskowski, as he's the best kicker in the league just now IMO but I'm concerned by a few of the players we've put onto FA. I hope we don't lose McCourty as he's a phenomenal player for us.

    I'm praying Cobb stays.

After that I hope Brian Bulaga, Tramon Williams and Dujan Harris

Well last night was eventful, looks a good trade for both teams. Just goes to show how devalued RBs are now when 2 of the best have/will be allowed to move on.

Chip Kelly better have a master plan because there's so many holes to fill now he's added RB to that list and probably WR when Maclin hits FA.

The Eagles get a young linebacker with one good season behind him but just coming off a cruciate injury, and gives up one of the leagues star RBs in exchange?

    The Bills win this trade.

I read a story, just after the Superbowl I believe, with surprising predictions. This was one of them. Wow!

Maybe I'm being unfair but if that happened it wouldn't fill me with much confidence. That said, we do our best with no stars on the team so perhaps....

I don't think we'll let Maclin go to be honest.

Having said that, it seems like Chip Kelly likes to do what Belichick does with receivers and running backs in that he doesn't have any real star names, but good solid players who he can use to plan for game by game depending on who best fits the offensive plan.

It is going to be an interesting free agency and draft, we've got a bit of money to spend now, so should be fun.

Daft move if true IMHO, leave a superbowl contender team for an Oakland or Jacksonville for a few million extra for a couple of seasons. Was it £9m per season he rejected at Green Bay?

I think the Packers were looking for an $8-9 million per year but he wants $10 million.

Right. I mean beyond Brady. We have not had a stud running back or wide receiver since......it's been a while. Yes, we have Gronk and he's a top TE but he's not a deep threat WR.

Wow. That means that the Jets dont like the look of Percy Harvin either. So much talent, but seems to be unpopular wherever he plays. I like Brandon Marshall, good player.

I was hoping the eagles would take a shot on him. We need someone who you can just go up and get passes. Looking forward to seeing him at Wembley this year, nfluk are having a great offseason!

Gutted with this, the guy is an excellent WR think we'll like to regret letting him go

There is an example of a player I would call a star. I should have been clearer in my original post, I was meaning WRs.

I don't know what plans the Bears have for Alshon Jeffery but from what I saw of him last year, they will be OK (unless they've traded him already!).
