If the Pats are in it then I want to be at home with everything I need right there. Plenty of food and beer. Sometimes we have friends over but every year people do different things. I'm not really interested in going out to a bar to watch it since that means getting home at midnight somehow. I'm sure I will be worse for wear one way or another so being at home is just smarter.

If the Pats aren't in then it's a little different. I still want to watch it but last year I was out for dinner with friends and only caught bits and pieces of it on a TV in the bar. It's still a big game that I want to watch but I'm a lot less fussy about where I watch it. :)
Must be a nightmare trying to get home at midnight. So much better for us over here trying to get home at 4 in the morning

Im hoping the Saints win tonight for the sake of the league. If everyone in that division keeps losing, a really ridiculous record like 6-10 is possible for the winners of the NFC South. And it would be just like the NFL to react immediately with a stupid change to the playoff system as a result.

I really thought the Saints would be contenders this year with the new players on defense.

They all got injured on D. Week to week the starters are all changing.

At least we aren't the Bears though. They really really suck.

    21-0 so far

Hope the saints win out, with it looking like the eagles missing out with potentially 11 wins I'd rather the saints got as close to .500 as possible.

That's crazy missing out with 11 wins, is that a record? Considering teams with -.500 have been in the wild card before.

Must be close to a record, no guarantee we'll win the next 2 on the road to redskins and giants.

Only have ourselves to blame, 1 win at home to Dallas and we were sorted.

    Ha Ha!!

At least there's something resembling public transport over there (although probably not at 4am!). Where I live there is nothing. You walk, ride or drive. That's it. No buses. My town doesn't even have a taxi company.

I go back and forth on the issue of who progresses to the playoffs. I come back to the same thing and that is that it should not be changed even if that means a team with a crappy record progresses and a team with a good record misses out. Otherwise there's no point in having different divisions - just play in one big division and the top X teams move forward (no, I don't want that). The division difficulty varies each year. There are very few teams that remain constant over a long period of time. Teams that are almost winless one year come back and are challenging a few years later.

I know that the NFC South is pretty bad this year but it's not always that way. All of those teams have been much better in recent history (last decade or so). Buccs won it all in 2002 and the Pats beat the Panthers the year after. New Orleans have been to the SB once....not much I can say about the Falcons I guess (6 post-season visits since 2000).

Sanchez playing well again. 14-10 at the half to the Eagles.

Season over, we're no where near gd enough for the playoffs. 33 completions, 375 yds but sanchez still sucks.

Roll on the post season and getting a new secondary.

Its good news for us that you lost, but I can't bring myself to be pleased cos I can't stand the Cowboys.

Cheers Alfred Morris and Colin Kaepernick - Despite being on the losing side, Kaepernick put impressive numbers last night - 114 passing yards, 1 TD and 157 rushing yards, 1 TD!

Now watch as it all comes undone tonight
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

Seahawks at Cardinals tonight, I can't pick a winner...our best two offensive linemen are injured and we conceded seven sacks last time we played them, so Russell will be running for his life. On the other hand, they have a backup qb no one's ever heard of up against our #1 ranked D. Low scoring contest with the best kicker winning it.

Whoever wins tops the division and gets pole position for home field advantage in the playoffs. Im assuming it's the sky 9:30 game?

Nfl.com showed the 1yd td run, but not the 99 yd kick return that preceded it

Seen it now. Great return, but why did he cut left? I'm sure if he just kept running no one would've caught him.

Ryan Lindley can't beat us, plain and simple. Fortunate as I wouldn't have fancied us otherwise.

    Unfortunately it's the 01:30 C4 game.

Bar management is playing havoc with my NFL viewing schedule!

I also think it will be close - but I reckon we're in for a 13-6.

in a way glad we are missing the playoffs, a poor poor season from us, defence has regressed albeit injuries have hit hard and the offence? no consistency atall from week to week, never nice losing to your hated rivals twice in the one year and i forsee major changes ahead of next year, i can see us going for a new OC roll on next years fantasy draft

The decision not to give a Saints TD was laughable there.

Jimmy Graham fumbles at the goal line that could be game over. The NFC south winners will now have a losing record.
