I sincerely hope it's not Def bloody Leppard as the pre-game for the Detroit vs Atlanta game next month!

I think we're gradually destined to become a basketball college as what was on display last night wasn't football...

That game was enought to make you sick.

Its a hard life being Hibs and Saints.

That fake punt call is still annoying me.

Was at wembley yesterday and would just like to say what a great match day experience. Wembley is a great venue, and the yanks know how to entertain at games.
Thought the dolphins were miles ahead of the raidors.
All in all a great day out, and today I've been to Stamford Bridge, the emirates and upton park...'ave it.

Has it been announced who's on before that game? In the three I've been to I've seen Train, Tinie Tempah and Ne-Yo so not exactly tough acts to follow!

on a slightly related note, I have Alex Smith sitting on the bench putting up good numbers if someone has a spare RB that puts up good numbers?

Hasn't been announced yet, should be soon. Had a great time on Sunday despite the raiders being terrible. Can't wait for the game in October with all the talent on show, going to the trafalgar sq bash on the Saturday as well

I think I'm resigned to a disappointing year of NFL football as I didn't feel overly upset this morning seeing the score.

I genuinely expected decent things before the season got underway but we look so unconvincing that winning the division even looks questionable.

I felt bad for you until I saw the picture of the old Chiefs fan doing the rounds it looks like the result made his day. He reminds me of some of the aulder guys at ER where a good result still makes their day.

Good for him - there are some teams it can't be easy supporting in the NFL and I don't grudge any fanbase enjoying seeing their team do well - we follow the sport for those moments after all.

I've had my fair share of great moments following New England - this season isn't looking pretty early doors but it won't be anywhere near as bad as the first year I start following us!

Have we all become a bit dispassionate this season? Nowhere near as much activity on this thread this year.

Packers battered the Vikings last night - 42-10...Eddy Lacy running for 105 yards with 2 TDs ( Haymaker...)

Its a strange season. For me the saints being so poor to begin has effected me to an extent but I wonder how much the off field stuff has got to people.

I mean last nights game was Rodgers and Lacy v Ponder and Asiata when it could have been Cassell/Bridgewater and AP.

Alot of the big games on tv have been huge blowouts too.

Has that not been doing the rounds for a couple of seasons now?

They should just move them over to London and give us our 8 home games a season already

As a fan of the game, I'd go along and watch them regularly - wouldn't support them though...

I benched Brady for Bridgewater last week. That was a good move but then Teddy got injured. I still don't like Brady and our O-Line so I picked up the Rams QB. Austin Davis I think his name is. Speaks volumes about how far we've dropped when I'm considering a rookie QB over Brady. I don't know anything about Davis, he might be a 100-year old veteran.

I've picked up Davis in our league as I needed a reasonable QB to cover for when Cassel's on his bye-week - it was originally Matt Cassel but we all know what happened there...
