I guess the three realistic contenders are indeed the Steelers, Bengals and Jets:

    Pittsburgh:
@ Dallas, vs Cincinnati, vs Cleveland

Cincinnati: @ Philadelphia, @ Pittsburgh, vs Baltimore

NY Jets: @ Tennessee, vs San Diego, @ Buffalo

Pittsburgh probably have the most straight-forward run-in of the three, closing with 2 home games but all three are capable of winning 2 of their remaining 3 games.
Wouldn't say Pittsburgh have it straight forward at all. They could easily lose in Dallas and with them playing Cincinnati at all falls our way. Out of the three teams who's run in would you want? It's so wrong that we're in contention but them's the rules .

Maybe because fantasy football only runs until week 16?

I'd suggest Cleveland is unlikely - they're currently 5-8 so would need to beat Washington, @Denver and @Pittsburgh to get to 8-8 and hope both Pittsburgh/Cincinnati lose all of their remaining games - certainly not impossible but unlikely IMO.

Id say Cincinnatti look to have a better chance. I like Andy Dalton and they have a good D now. The Chargers have a very gentle finish too; carolina, jets and the raiders, could easily finish 8-8 and sneak it if anyone slips up.

In the NFC, i can see a few twists and turns before the end. the Giants and 49ers could get caught by the chasing pack and have to settle for a wildcard.

It's all about the record after week 17. We had a hellish schedule to begin with and we're now reaping the benefits with a nice run in. I say the Bengals are probably the most deserving of the three teams but we're def in with a shout!

Looks like the 7 catholic basketball schools are going to dissolve the Big East in the next 48 hours. Don't know what implications this will have for the likes of UConn, Cincy & Temple but glad to see that these school's aren't letting football dictate their own future! The Huskies and Bearcats will jump at the first offer from the ACC or the Big 10 leaving us with the likes of Tulane and SMU - better to jump than be pushed - take a slight paycut from TV deals and remain relevant!

Cincinnati beat Philadelphia 34-13 last night and take a step towards the playoffs. They'll be hoping for a Cowgirls win to give them a lead and knock their confidence before the game in Pittsburgh next week now I guess.

I'd still want Pittsburgh's run in at the moment, even if they do lose in Dallas. They have 2 home ties against divisional rivals to reach the playoffs. If THAT can't fire a team up, they're beyond help!

    They won't get near it.

Colts are certs with their quite impressive record just now and one of either Pittsburgh or Cincinnati will probably take the other.
Jets have a 9% chance of the playoffs from playoffstats website.

    - early game, followed by Dallas vs Pittsburgh.

Late game (49ers @ New England) is on C4 and Jessies @ Titans is MNF.

I'm glad to see that (unsurprisingly) we're going to honour the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary shooting tonight before the San Francisco game.

Players will wear black ribbons to honour the victims and pause for a minute's silence with 26 white flare being lit to honour the dead.

I dare say the entire NFL will pay its respects prior to the games tonight and the NY Giants have also said they'll have S.H.E.S on their helmets tonight.

    Horrible set of circumstances.

Giants and Bucs getting shut out by the Falcons and Saints respectively and Ravens getting pumped at home by the Broncos (though they've just got one back).

Hoping the Colts can somehow get ahead of the Texans here and the Ravens lose as we'd take the #1 ranking in the AFC (?)

Redskins will overtake the Giants and go top of the East tonight. Who'd have thunk it?

How rotten is the Bears retro uniform?

Well done Houston and Green Bay division champs.

Weird start in the Seattle game. Matt Flynn comes out for the first play, gets sacked, and then Wee Russell comes out for the second play why wasn't he starting in the first place?

Fantastic start. Pegged back by CJ Spiller though. The perils of fantasy: the better he does for you, the worse the Seahawks do!
