Looking @ the state of the jets/bills/fins you should be winning that division for years to come.

Oh well, if no one else wants it

The Bills are over-due a resurgence and I think at Miami there is decent-ish team there and Moore is better than Tannehill, not impressed by him at all (his wife on the other hand...)

What team really needs a QB? I could see him going to the jets in the offseason, if 49rs go all in with kapernick, arizona would take him I guess as would the chiefs but they look like getting 1st draft pick, interesting times ahead

So you reckon he's done at the 49ers? Still seems strange IMO.

Must be something in the background, poor trainer/bad attitude maybe? Has to be something like that.

49ers have been trying to get rid of him for a while. They see Kaperneck (sp?) as the future and 9/10 pundits reckon their right and that he is the better player. Haven't seen much of him but he looked really good the other night and I can't see them all being wrong. Factor in that Kaperneck has a long term contract on a much less wage than Smith then it all kinda makes sense. If they don't make the SB though I can see it come back and bite Harbaugh in the ass. As for Smith for the Jets, forget about it. We're going to do something really stupid and sign Vick .

Will that FINALLY put to bed the whole "Tebow is great" talk? When the Jet annouce they are going to bring in an experienced QB to push Sanchez and continue to keep Tebow on the bench you know there isnt a player there.

Last nights game made me feel sick. 5 Interceptions and letting the clock run out on the 3 yard line at the end of the first half. Not like Brees at all.

Thats our playoff hopes pretty much done for.

Sore one to take, brees will be on suicide watch for the next week, season over. I'd take 4 more losses to try and get as high a draft pick as possible seeing as we won't have a 2nd round pick cos of the bounty BS

Couldn't believe my eyes. Thought NO had a chance but the first two drives (TD then INT) changed my mind. Drews had a nightmare last night. I know it doesn't count on the stats sheet but it was really 6 INTs, he threw one just before his 5th but didn't count because of a DEF penalty.

I still don't rate ATL. To only beat NO by 10 with their crappy D and with Brees throwing 5 picks. Seems like they should have destroyed them.

Credit where its due, congratulations to the falcons for triumphantly beating New Orleans for the 3rd time in the last 14 attempts. Fannys.

That must have been a sore one for the Saints.

Some big college games tonight, I have a £5 free bet and decided to back the Dawgs against Bama.

Awful news developing just now. A Chiefs player has apparently taken his own life at Arrowhead this morning after shooting his girlfriend.

Edit: From twitter it appears that it's linebacker Jovan Belcher.

I believe that this has since been confirmed.

He apparently shot his girlfrined then drove to the Chiefs' practice facility. When police got there, Belcher was holding a gun to his head and standing in front of Pioli and Crennel. He thanked them, then shot himself. Belcher has a three month old child.

This is just a desperately sad story.

Just read that on ESPN. They haven't named him but the Daily Mail have also suggested it to be Jovan Belcher and his Wiki page also suggests that the reports are true.

Can't say I know much about him but him and his girlfriend just had a baby girl 3 months ago.

    Awful news indeed.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

That's just horrible. I hope the league or players union has some sort of support in place for the families involved.

I don't mind Alabama but would prefer a different team to win it this year.

    Alabama winning 10-7 at HT
