Anyone see that UCF v Auburn game? One of the best this year imo. Now for the Rose Bowl!

I still love the stealth bomber as a fly over

Crazy game in the Rose Bowl followed by a less entertaining Sugar Bowl.

I land in Mexico hopefully an hour before the Saints Playoff game starts. Hopefully I make it in time to watch.

  6. #9545
The first two wildcard games didn't disappoint! I was struggling to see past two home wins, but both the road teams came away with victories. Mariota catching his own pass for a TD was a crazy play!

Falcons play the eagles next in Philly and even though it is outside in the cold, I really can't see our offense without Wentz keeping pace with the Falcons offense.

Today it is the Bills Vs Jags and Panthers Vs Saints. Haha should beat the Bills, but the Panthers Vs Saints should be a cracker, hopefully MVP Cam turns up and we get a shootout!

I didn't watch either game but it sounds like one of my favourite players, massive RB Derrick Henry had a big game for the Titans, who will be continue to be the underdogs. Glad to see the back of the Kansas city bores. Falcons beating Rams a minor surprise.

when I was growing up, the Seahawks made the playoffs 4 times in 20 years. It was a major event those few and far between seasons they had a run and I'd be glued to the screen. In recent years we've been in the playoffs every year, five in a row IIRC, usually along with the Packers. You just take it for granted. So it's really strange seeing other teams battle it out. Looking like an end of an era.

i agree, big changes happening in Green Bay this off-season and I'm hoping we'll be back next year but one thing we both have going for us is the QBs.

The QB is the ONLY positive thing in our case! Ive never felt so pessimistic about the season ahead.

Is there a better corner in the league than Jalen Ramsey at the moment? With their defence and some of the weapons on offence the Jags could be a serious team if they get their QB sorted out, Bortles isn't going to win you a championship imo.

Bouye on the other side is just as good for the Jags! They're ferocious, and some may recall I tipped them as dark horses at the start of the season

Go on the Saints. The worry here is that the Saints D has been on the field for so long that they're going to tire late on. Panthers kicker keeping them in the game.

Some good match ups for next week, but the National Championship tonight! I will be avoiding the score until I get a chance to watch it but I'm hoping Georgia can win it.

it's amazing how easy it is to trip up. I follow a Kirk Herbstreit and a couple of other pundits on twitter so checking my twitter is out. I follow College Gameday on facebook so thats out. I was on the BBC web site earlier and I think I can count on one hand the amount of American Football articles outside of the superbowl I have seen on there and there was one about Trump forgetting the National Anthem - Guess what even he was attending? I'm even nervous coming on here :D

If I saw a post from someone else after mine last night I would have avoided the thread entirely.

Oooohhh here we go. On Espn now if anyone is interested.

That was some drive just before HT!

Wow! I thought they were going to take the Georgia TD away there. What a start to the second half!

Bama bring it back to 20-20!

    Holy ****! OT

Omg! How can the Georgia D let it go that easily! Well done Bama that was some game!

Where’s the best place in Edinburgh to watch the conference championship games? I’m gonna be up for work in a couple of weeks so need an appropriate venue.

Belushis on Market Street shows all NFL games. It's attached to a hostel so it's offerings reflect that. Golf Tavern at Bruntsfield used to, not sure about now. Peartree by the uni also shows and there's usually a few guys from the uni football teams there.

I'd recommend Footlights on Spittal Street though. Decent food, beers not bad, big screens, usually a good atmosphere and they can show up to 3 events at a time so there's rarely any moaning. Usuallg a big German contingent in as they show a lot of Bundesliga.
