I see we've retained Malcolm Butler, which comes as a pleasant surprise!

Still reckon Jimmy G will be gone by the time the draft gets underway - he should command us some pretty good compensation too.

In other news, our former TE Aaron Hernandez has hung himself in prison - no great loss.
Loss of a great talent. Not so much a human being.

Such strange timing. Acquited of two murders and apparently a chance of overturning the other - seemed like he finally had something to live for from his cell.

He got another 5 years added to his life sentence without parole for having a weapon.

Miles Garrett, DE from Texas A&M. Hes the favourite and theres not usually surprises in the first few picks IIRC.

There was a debate on espn radio this morning that the browns ownership might try to force a QB.

It is the browns so nothing would surprise me, but they've got two first round picks this year so surely the more sensible move would be to trade up their second pick into the top 10 and select a QB then. Or maybe they'll just stick with Osweiler...

I can't believe no-one has signed Kaepernick yet. Surely he's a better option than the likes of Hoyer, Glennon and Sanchez.

It is the Browns so you're right, they'll probably end up drafting a kicker first.

I reckon CK will sign for some one late, avoiding as much press as possible. If he signs now the media will be on it for days.

I like the idea of them trading up their second pick to #4 and getting a QB. I also like the look of that Fournette guy a lot, just from youtube I hasten to add. He looks like a player.

Good luck to him. A total legend. The Raiders surely have the best offense in the AFC.

That's a juicy worm on the end of that line Mr Bollah

If you've got the superbowl rings, that's what matters. But If Beast Mode still has it, they'll take them to a different level. Their passing attack is pretty scary already.

Seems like a crazy move, they gave up a huge amount to move up one position when the 49ers weren't going to draft the guy they picked anyway. Thats the sort of draft I like to see though, people trading all over the place, teams panicking and stretching for players they didn't need to.

The Browns actually look like they might actually have a plan at the minute...

Last season was hard for me to keep it going - house move, pregnant wife and a busy period at work just meant I couldn't find time to deal with trades etc.

Definitely more excited about some fantasy NFL this year around. There were some new posters who showed interest after we had finished, so perhaps we extend them an invitation. I hope DH might join us again this year. I missed him last year (and in general - he's not been on much lately).
