Late Payment Charges?

Last week I was extremely busy, had loads of college work and a family problem going on and I completely forgot I was due a minimum payment on my Topman card. The payment was due on the 11th, however I won't be in town until Friday to pay some of my card off. I've had an 0114 number and an 0113 number trying to contact me the last couple days but i've missed the calls due to work, i'm thinking this could be related to the missed payment.




Any reporcussions to missing this payment, other than a late payment fee?

It could potentially impact your ability to get credit in the future, so you should get it paid asap.

Stick a direct debit in place to make sure it's paid every month.

Unless it's a payment to HBOS who then tell you you have a missed payment when they set the sodding DD up for it themselves!

stick the phone number that has been calling you into Google with who called me after it and you might find out who has been trying to get you

As has already been said this could affect your credit rating.

If its the first time you have been late try giving them a call and explaining what has happened, they may refund the charge as an act of goodwill since its your first time.

And as PC Stamp said get a Direct Debit setup asap and if you can get it paid off asap too as the interest on these storecards is shockingly high.
