    How good is your memory?

I wondered how far back Hibsnet retain posts & threads and did a search through my own.
On one, I mentioned an English sports journalist in the Daily Express in the 60's
who would wind up us Scots every day. Couldn't remember his name then but it flashed back to me when I read the old post.

    His name was Desmond Hackett.

Gee, it's good to get that off my chest.

Great stuff. There used to be a daily sports cartoonist in the Express called Roy Ullyet. In the English edition anyway.

Desmond Hackett has got to be the best name of all time for a sports hack.
