    If Utd win the cup then ross county are NOT in Europe, it would only happen if Utd finish second and win the cup. If Utd win the cup then 5th place will get into Europe

    aye a would like UTD to win like bit of a shambles and empty ground if a raith ross final? UTD been team of season for me,they deserve it?
    just a shame we missed out when OF been so poor this season?

    Thats what I thought, said as much on the RC v Celtic thread.

    I would say that that scenario is very likley.

    This is all because the Cup winners spot is ranked hire than the 3rd in the SPL slot. If DU win the cup and finish 3rd they will occupy Hearts spot from last season, playing one round before hitting the league stage.

    If we finish 5th, we would be have to play 3 (I think) two legged qualifying rounds before getting into the league stages. Starting mid July.

    Chick Young on the radio was going around telling every County player they were in Europe regardless, then they pointed out he was wrong (there a suprise) and they had to apologise.

    What can Celtic, Rangers, Dundee Utd etc etc do in Europe ??? If we even got to the group stages (it would take luck) it would be worth a few bob to us. But there again why bother if we are not going to win it
