    Mayweather v Mosley

Seems to have been confirmed for may 1st. Can't wait for this one, a much much better fight than Pacquiao v Clottey

Mosley has also agreed to olympic style drug testing which imo is only a good thing for boxing. Pacquiao needs to get his head out his ar$e and agree to the terms should Mayweather win.

Good fight for both parties. Hopefully a tune up for Mayweather to face Manny in late summer/early autumn.

Could be an exciting year for boxing.

    Mayweather v Mosely
    Manny v Clottey
    Mayweather v Manny
    Haye v Ruiz
Haye v 1 of the Klits
    Khan v Maidana
    Khan v malignaggii or Marquez
    Hatton v Marquez/Catsidis/Senchenko
    Froch v Kessler
    Hopkins v Jones Jnr

Also the likes of Pavlik, Berto, Abraham all looking for big fights. Could have just changed from a disastrous year to a good one.

I really hope Mosley gives him a doing. PBF's face is unscratched because he's been ducking the likes of Mosley throughout his career.

    Not this old chestnut again.

Mayweather is not a long time welterweight. He fought some outstanding super featherweights(Corrales and Jesus Chavez to name 2), he stepped up to lightweight and beat Castillo twice, despite apparently being rubbish against an inside fighter/brawler. A defence against Philip N'Dou before a jump to LWW to absolutely destroy one of the toughest fighters ever Arturo Gatti(RIP). His first fight at welterweight was against a top ranked fighter in the division Zab Judah then against a very dangerous Baldomir. He stepped up to 154lbs to face De la Hoya and despite going into the ring about a stone lighter than De La Hoya he won the fight very comfortably, despite what the conspiracy theorists who have never seen the fight tell us. He dropped back to WW to fight Hatton. Prior to this he had been negotiating with Mosley but the Hatton fight happened because A) Money talks and B) boxing fans wanted to see Floyd take on another inside fighter after he was troubled by Castilol. He came through the test with flying colours after taking a few rounds to figure Hatton out. After his retirement he came back against Marquez, admittedly lighter but still not a fighter many would fancy facing after so long out the ring. Interestingly the weight difference in this fight was considerably less than the difference between De la Hoya and Mayweather.

He's now agreed to fight Mosely, a fight Floyd comfrortably wins. The Manny fight will happen. Beating Cotto would prove nothing now so after that the only option is Margarito when he returns, another fight i would strongly fancy Floyd.
