I've been racking my brains - when was the last time Hibs went 9 games unbeaten? Anyone?
Also what's the next target? (I know 10 would be good after the next game) but how long did the winning streak go on last time?

I thought it already was 10 games unbeaten....
The paper said on Sat or Sun that it's the first time in 15(14) years in the SPL.

You have to go way, way, way back to before Hearts were a laughing stock to recall a run so good.

It was the 94/95 season when we lost out on 2nd place to Motherwell because we only managed to draw 1-1 with Celtic in our game in hand the week before the last game of the season. We were 1 nowt up (McGinley?) and O'donnel equalised with about 15 to go. Gutted.
No idea at what stage of that season we were 10 unbeaten tho.

going on league games only the motherwell game was our tenth in a row unbeaten, previously in 2007/08 under JC we went 9 SPL games unbeaten at the start of the season (a run ended by Motherwell as it happens)
both runs included defeats in the first round of the CIS cup however

We did win 12 on the trot or something like that, during our 'adventure' in division 1 under big eck. Also I seem to remember that we started season 93-94 - with about a 14/15 game unbeaten streak right through to the league cup final when we were top of the league and McCoist scored the overhead kick. Although my memory could be playing tricks.....

I believe we have only conceded 1 second half goal in league games this season also. Sauce, Grant Stotts column last monday.

3 of those 4 draws should have been wins. On top of that we could have won at Ibrox too.
Could have been well clear at the top!

But why not? We've been starved of it for so long and it sure does taste good

Boruc's and Balogh's saves (both finger-tipped onto the post) have cost us a draw against Celtic and a win at the PBS. Both might also have been from Wotherspoon efforts, IIRC.

On chances in the last 20 min at the PBS and given the save from Wotherspoon, we possibly could / should have won that but our performance probably didn't merit the win.
Paisly we were pants and probably deserved no more than the draw. Although, having gone 1-0 up, it was a cheap goal to loose at a silly time and we would have held on for the win I think.
Hunbrox - Nish at the end could have won it for us but again, draw was fair result.

Interesting though that because the league fixtures no longer follow the same order in each round of games, that in this unbeaten run we have played neither of the teams that we lost to (celtic and hamilton).
Im not saying that has much baring on the run as you can only beat whats in front of you, but it could have been a psychological barrier if we were playing them.
Now lets dispell this theory and include both those teams in this run
