    Wanted more than a twix and a couple of wagon wheels for wages so that ruled him out of Hearts wage bracket these days.

    He's also a midfielder who likes to pass the ball so didn't fit in to their industrial ethos.

    Remember his crossfield pass to Alan Obrien in the derby at ER..truly jawdropping, 50 yard crossfield pass from which the goal that Fletcher scored came from.

    Considering it was the only thing that he did in his time with us, most Hibs fans will remember it. Was in the same basket as JJ in that it was always going to be next week, or the week after that he was going to come good. The biggest issue that this boy raised though was that it was knowledge that he was with us as a keep-fit shop window exercise and that he was getting paid much less than he was used to. Well, in his time with us, he was well short of the quality we have now.
