(You proberbly mean clubs rather than teams, as dozens of Celtc players have played in four different teams in Yoorop.)Last edited by lapsedhibee; 06-09-2009 at 09:23 PM.

Show QuoteLife should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

I wondered if Alan Gordon might have done it before Ferguson, but wasn't sure if the arabs would have been in Europe then (don't think they were).

He also played for Motherwell at a time when they were in Europe. I think.
Only say this as I don't believe Dundee played in Europe when he was with them.

I'm sure teams and clubs are one of the same and therefore rules out my answer.
C'mon bluenoseisthecolour. Has anyone answered the question correctly.

Gordon Smith is surely the only scot to play in the European cup for 3 different scottish teams?
I doubt anyone will do that again anytime in the near future.

Who knows - cheeky wee move for him to one of the third-place contenders in a season or two, bit of a surge by one of them to split the OF, lucky draw and he could be in the record books alongside the legend that is Gordon Smith
Still not quite the same as winning the league with three non-OF teams though. There's only one thing better than a Hibs calendar and that's two Hibs calendars
