Call ups causing grief for the SPL opener

Maka, JJ, and Bamba called up for international friendlies

While I can understand the need for international friendlies, surely the international managers can bear in mind that leagues are just kicking off and leave players out for this one!

JJ is on 97 international caps and wants to make his century. No club manager would deny a player that opportunity.

As for the others - every international appearance potentially bumps up the player's market value. So on balance we're always likely to let them play unless there is a critical club fixture coming up.

International football should be banned. It is basically a facist concept,
when the socialist millenium arrives such outmoded, divisive ideas will be cast into the dust bin of history. All men shall be brothers then and ideas of race and nationality will seem laughable and silly. Everyone will still abhor the Jambos - as you can only push people so far.
