This book has been out for a while. Could it not be that the book is just being updated??

Sure I heard this from Brian who runs the programme shop on Albion Road

This guy Jeffrey seems to churn out a fair number of Hibs books. Not sure how high quality they are.

    Product Description
"Hibernian: The Players 1946 - 2009" is the book that every Hibs supporter needs on their bookshelf. From the legendary figures of The Famous Five and Turnbull's Tornadoes through to Joe Baker, Frank Sauzee and even the players who made only one appearance, they are all profiled together in this Hibernian treasure trove. George Best, Scott Brown, Angus Plumb, Craig Paterson, Colin Stein, Russell Latapy, Kenny Miller, Neil Martin, Peter Marinello...this list of past and present stars both well known and obscure is truly exhaustive As well as describing in detail the careers of the many Hibernian heroes, fascinating tales unfold, like Jimmy Bradley's - the man who played only one game for Hibs; remarkably in the Scottish League Cup final. Then there is the goalkeeper whose only competitive appearance for Hibs came astonishingly in the European Cup semi-final. There are players with borrowed boots, farmers made goalkeepers, male models, press photographers and even a Hibs player who edited the Hearts program! The book also carries a comprehensive statistical section and there is a chapter profiling each and every Hibernian post-war manager. The players come alive as we read about their characters, their physiques, their great games, sensational transfers and of course the marvelous goals and saves in Hibernian's fascinating history. Illustrated with many previously unpublished Hibs images this book is a welcome addition to the rich heritage of Scottish football books. Whether you support Hibs or have a general interest in the Scottish game this is a book that will answer many questions. Lovingly compiled by former Hibernian program editor Jim Jeffrey he calls upon years of research to take the story of this great Edinburgh club to a new level. By covering events up to an including the January 2009 transfer window he gives supporters a rich reference work that is both compelling reading and a wonderful reference work. Every Hibernian player to have made a competitive post-war outing for the club listed together in one volume for the first time. This title offers insights on the players gleaned from six years working as the Easter Road club's official match program editor. The quirky and humorous details broaden our knowledge of the players who have served Hibs. Illustrated throughout, the book contains a fascinating series of statistics and a profile of each and every post war manager.
