In the Indian Wells Masters final tonight on Sky Sports at 9pm, after beating Federer (again) yesterday. Not bad considering he's recovering from a virus.
Anyone know how close to Djokovic he's gonna be in the rankings after this week? Murray got knocked out of this tournament early doors last year, while Djokovic won it, and he only made the quarters this year, so should be a decent points swing to andy

ATP website not has 570 points between them. would only have been 170 if andy had won.
Both andy and Djokovic only have 10pts to defend at Miami, so if murray gets further than him he can cut the gap right down, although Andy is in the same half of the draw as Nadal

looking good for 3rd in the world very soon. Only 170pts behind djokovic, and Andy only has 70 points to defend in Rome next month, while Djokovic has 1000 pts to defend as he won it

Murray has next to no points to defend on the clay courts. This is his record from the clay court season of 2008;
French Open-3rd round
Monte Carlo Masters-3rd round
Torneo Godo-2nd round
Rome Masters-2nd round
Hamburg Masters-3rd round
Whereas Novak Djokovic has lots of points to defend. His record on clay last year looked like this;
French Open-Semi Finals
Monte Carlo Masters-Semi Finals
Rome Masters-Winner
Hamburg Masters-Semi Finals
By the time Queen's and Wimbledon come about at the end of June, Andy Murray could well be out of sight in 3rd and closing in on Roger Federer in 2nd.
