What fantastic athletes these two guys are, their fitness levels are unbelievable. Football players should take a leaf out of their books.

Shame the last set didn't live up to the rest.
Lots of unforced errors by Federer - shame.
Still, amazing match none the less.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Absolutely gutted for Federer. I think that defeat could be quite damaging as that is now two Grand Slams, where he used to dominate, that he has lost to Nadal in the final. He didn't really do enough to win the match.
I hope he can win two more Majors, so that he can overtake Sampras, but as long as Nadal stays fit, I wouldn't bet on it.
Well done Nadal, though. The guy is an unbelievable athlete and an outstanding competitor. For him to play like that less than 48 hours after he played a 5 hour match, is incredible. I wanted Federer to win but you cannot help but admire Rafael Nadal.
