    Andy Murray-Qatar Open

Andy Murray's currently playing Roger Federer for the second time in a week. He has just lost the first set on a tie break, so he'll need to win the next two sets to go through to the final, although he faced a similar task last week in Abu Dhabi and came out on top, in the end.

The winner faces Andy Roddick in the final, after he beat Gael Monfils earlier.

It's on Eurosport (Sky ch.410) if anyone fancies watching it.

    He's done it again.

He came back to win the second set 6-2 and then won the deciding set 6-2, despite having to receive treatment on his back. This sets up a final against Andy Roddick tomorrow.

The match starts at 15:30 tomorrow.

That back problem might prevent him playing the final according to the BBC Sport website.

May be a sensible move considering the Australian Open is only a wee away.

Anybody got a feeling already that injury is going to hinder Murray at the Aussie Open? See he's apparently the bookies fave for it aswell, quite surprising.

Absolutely fantastic display by Murray today as he hammered Andy Roddick 6-4 6-2. Roddick didn't do much wrong, but Murray was just far superior.

I know it's early doors and last week's tournament in Abu Dhabi was technically just an exhibition event, but that's two tournaments played in 2009 and two tournaments won for Mr Murray, including two victories over Roger Federer and one over Rafael Nadal.

I'm not quite sure about the 'favourite' tag that the bookies have given him, but he is surely up there as one of the real contenders for the Australian Open, which begins in just over a week.

    Well done, Andy!
