How come theres no big discussion on this then?

a weedgie mother who claimed benefits for 14 children has been jailed for claiming she had 14 children and claiming £70,000 worth of benefits. She claimed for 4 of her own children(she had 0) claimed for 5 foster children(again 0) and 5 of her sisters children(again 0)

just wondering why one or two of the regular posters on here havent mentioned it. Maybe the fraud was done by someone of the wrong nationality for it to be discussed.

This should never been allowed to happen in the first place.

Maybe no-one else had spotted this story yet Wouldnt think that anyone would not be upset at this just because she was Scottish.

All these benefit fraudsters get right on my nerves no matter what nationality they are

I for one hadnt seen this story before. Many others would be likewise.

But if she was, say, from another country, this thread would probably read 'only in this country, come over here steal our money, took our jobs(say some middle class banker, or whatever), yadda yadda' from a thinly disguised racist. With quotes from the daily mail, as proof that the worlds gone 'mad', and it indeed is best to stay indoors, because everything and one is scary.

I think what's interesting is not that no-one has commented on it on Hibs.net, but that in general it has received relatively little media coverage full stop.

Can you imagine if a Polish/Afghanistanian women had been caught fleecing the system for FOURTEEN (I mean that's not just one or 2, that's FOURTEEN FFS!!) non-existant kids.

You'd have to put Richard Littledick and his cronies in one of those things that Steve Buscemi is restrained with in Con Air to stop them tearing her (and the government) from limb to limb in print.

And probably in the flesh as well!!!

Which was exactly my point. The £1 million council house thread was started by people moaning about "asylum seeking scroungers, yadda yadda yadda" yet the same people who are indignant about that have nothing to say on this story. But their not racist - honest.
