Hibs.net v Northern hibbies bowls challenge..

Superb weather..superb green & superb lager on tap ...what more could a bowler ask for ...?...

The excellent Northern bowling club was the setting for the first & hopefully many more challenge matches between hibs.net & Northern hibbies...

Although we were all hibbies competition was at its max ..Mike (Burnsie07) made sure he put out his strongest Northern team..

Hibs.net were not to be outdone nor intimidated by the level of competition & we, thanks to Andy's (Tanfield) astute selection had a terrific 9 bowlers at our disposal..

It was tit for tat most of the 15 ends, hibs.net giving our opponents a good run for their money ..

The game was settled over an aggregate score of hibs.net 40 ..Northern 46..

A superb game with a very close result..

A massive thanks to hibs.net players..

A brilliant day lads, thouroughly enjoyed the bowling, the banter and of course the drinking afterwards. It is always good to put faces to names and it was great to see all the Hibs.net lads at the Northern.
J.C. you must be old enough by now to take up the bowling! Get yersel a set of bowls man and get practicing for next years return match.
