T, do you know how much it is to get in these days?
Watch the Elite League speedway on the telly and keep meaning to go to Armadale but with, footie, hockey etc never quite get around to it, maybe this year. (If I can drag the old man of the b****y golf course that is)

I know a few die-hards of many years standing who didnae fancy their chances much this season........good young team , but not enough potential to go the whole distance. They have sure started very well though...

I used to go to the Speedway a few years back at Armadale. The company I worked for at the time printed the race programme and I had a lot of dealings Mike Hunter, who does all the PR work for the Monarchs.
Great to see that big Mike won the Sports Fan of the year award 2008. This guy is a REAL statto.
Well done Mike.

Mike's a long term friend.........and to think he used to say I was an anorak........
Incidently, the guy that nominated him is Stevie Gilroy - a right Jambo die-hard bassa...........

I heard that his prize was supposed to be a trip to the Ryder Cup in September, but he turned it down cause it was during the Speedway season.
Going to see Cricket in the West Indies instead I believe.
