Confirmation we are done.
Brutal.
Officially done. Can we have a ceremonial closing of this tragic thread now! [emoji23]
We’re weaker definitely but we’re just not rich enough to be stronger and that’s despite 200,000 ST sales and McGinn money that we’ve definitely already had and our Europa League run which came without any costs at all, just free money and the dryborough cup gate receipts from 1972 and the fiver Ronnie spent in the club shop on the Hibs Paddington Bear when we got promoted in 1981.
No more business done.
Ridiculous.
We’re done.
If we do not bring anyone in it will certainly be disappointing
People are always going to defend the business we have done but considering the players we have lost that was a must & expected.
I felt we showed a lack of ambition by not spending more to replace McGinn before the Molde game, as funds for him were always going to come in.
To find us on the last day and still feeling a little short, i think will be one we regret.
A player such as Scott Allen or Kamara would show a bit of intent. Whilst it may cost us a fee. The fee would likely be worth it to strengthen the squad now rather than later.
I see now confirmed we are done, extremely disappointing.
My worry is one or two injuries and we are struggling.
Booooooooo
Wow.
Slightly underwhelmed.
Imo we were always going to be weaker this year. There was no way we could replace Mcginn and Mcgeouch. So what we have is stop gaps and potential as that is all we can do in the hope that we can find the next Mcginn. The level Mcginn was playing at when he left took time, we are not going to get a player at that level so can get potential in the hope they can develope like mallan or stop gap older players like milligan to keep us going. Unfortunately that is our reality.
Yea at the moment it would appear we are not as strong in midfield as we were last season, but we have still done good business

Folk reacting as if we've not signed anyone all window.
Am I right in thinking we can still make loan signings
Wonder where Lenny’s head is?
I am usually very positive about the club but I'm astounded by this. We are a striker short at the very least! Ah well. Onwards and upwards.
Not happy, I’m sure we could have been told this long ago, we’ve been on here all day hoping to hear something. I’m sure we haven’t lost out on any targets so could have been put out of our mysery
We're done lads. Time to close the worst thread ever.
If we'd signed Flo and Jamie tonight rather than a few weeks ago everyone here would be buzzing.
All that's happened today is two fringe players have left.
We've still to see Milligan and Agyepong in action, Flo and Jamie are still to get games together...
It would have been nice to have had a signing tonight, but it's hardly disastrous that we haven't.
As for the biggest budget, surely folk still aren't struggling with understanding what was meant when Dempster said (and explained) that?
