Ugly Kid Joe and The Virginmarys at Slay last night, superb gig from both bands, I highly recommend The Virginmarys when they come up here to gig, brilliant 2 piece hard rock band.

Not got round to buying The Enemy / The Subways in Manchester in October yet but makes perfect sense when I’ll be literally across the road earlier in the evening at Super League Grand Final.
Going to the test event at Co-Op Live tomorrow night (new arena at the Etihad). Rick Astley headlining so at least we know we only need to aim to get there for the last song 😁
The gig was cut short after 5 songs due the singer having a throat infection. He announced that they'd reschedule and all tickets would be valid. I must admit to thinking the promoter would be thinking 'WTF' as that would be a financial disaster. Low and behold, gig rescheduled for August 1st and all tickets valid. 10/10 to all involved.
