OK, you can have one beer that you take with you to a desert island (an endless supply, but just the one brand) - what are you having?

Black Isle's Yellow Hammer.
Not sure if its still available but, I used to really like Batemans XXXXB not saw it anywhere recently though. Black Paw Dark Seam is very good too.
If I had to drink the same thing every day for a long time and it was guaranteed to be perfect condition and temperature it would have to be Guinness.
Warsteiner lager
Belhaven's St Andrews Amber Ale is not too bad a drop.
Schneider Weisse Tap 5
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
Maybe the Birds and the Bees from the Williams Brothers. Tough question though.
Tough but probably Stone Brewing IPA (the leith walk tesco currently have stock that was only canned a month ago).
Guinness. Might have a job chilling it though. Can we have a battery-operated fridge with an endless supply of Duracell?
I dunno why I get involved in these things.
Stella
Berliner Kindl Jubiläums Pilsener. Nice unassuming beer, not too dry with a little bit of fizz that's best served cold (like most beer) but can also be drank around room temperature.
Desert island implies hot to me so it'd have to be a lager. Maybe one of those crisp refreshing Japanese beers, kirin or something.
Anchor Steam for me - so happy to see it's made it across the waters and is now a staple in our local Tesco - not quite as nice as getting it on draft down by Fisherman's Wharf with some Dungeness crab, but it hits the spot.
Orkney IPA
If it's beer, it would be Old Speckled Hen.
Lager would be San Miguel and stout, Guinness.
Assuming it's a hot desert island, San Miguel wins.
Alexander Keiths for me.
A nice sour beer. Breakfast of Champignons by Wild Beer Co. is one of the most interesting beers I've tried in a long time - a sour beer infused with wild mushroom.
Taking the desert island theme literally then Augesteiner Helles. Smooth, crisp and ridiculously drinkable.
If I could only drink one beer again then at the moment it would be Cranachan Killer by Fierce Beer Co. Ask me again next week and that could change though.
I think I'd currently have to go for a beer from Goose Island Brewery from Chicago - Honkers IPA
Desert Island for me implies palm trees and beaches so Brew Dog's Elvis Ale might be the beer of choice.
