Living in NZ I should also mention the excellent series The New Zealand Wars. Well worth a look.
If anyone is looking for a football documentary I'd highly recommend next goal wins.

Watched The Seven Five recently. It's about an corrupt cop working the 75th Precinct of the NYPD in the 1980's, was worth a look.

Been watching The Catch on Channel 4, not quite the same vein as some mentioned here, but it's excellent.
Finished watching Nazi Collabators on Yesterday which featured Anton Gecas who died in Edinburgh a few years ago, the number of Jewish deaths he was associated with is astounding.
Oddly enough he ended up receiving a medal from Britain for fighting in Italy towards the end of the war.
