Scottish football coverage is superior and I generally get one EPL game a week and all of the Champion's League and Europa League as well as the FA Cup.
My box is ultra HD with the capability of recording 2 plus watching a 3rd channel, just as I had with Sky. I also have a2nd box in my bedroom which is ideal for recording programmes on freeview, but it isn't wired to the internet yet so I don't get those channels.
I know you've said the internet isn't a main concern, but I was getting 9MB with Sky, I get 72MB with BT. I would highly recommend them if you aren't all that bothered about the Box Sets and the hundreds of channels you get with Sky.
