Only yesterday I randomly plucked Candy Apple Grey out of my CD pile to play in the car. Husker Du were hugely influential on both The Pixies and Nirvana. How sad to see him die at only 56.

Jeez that is spooky - I was listening to a song called Grant Hart by the Posies half an hour ago which was a sort of tribute to him. Never quite got into Husker Du but might make another effort.Quote:
