Hearts next
this is a big step by whyte, however given the league is down the swanny and the auditors won't sign off the accounts so European football cannot happen next season for them this is probably the best time to do it. Still wouldn't like to be a hun, and not just because they smell and !!
Kinda feels good knowing how financially sound we are. It must be terrible waking up every morning as a hun/yam looking at the papers and online for the latest news, i really really feel for them.
DO I **** :greengrin:thumbsup: :faf:
:rotflmao:
does this mean they can't play in europe next season now then?
How does this impact on Daniel Cousin? Surely a club in administration is barred from signing new players?
:hilarious
Hopefully they will bump Hearts for the rest of the money that is due for Wallace.
Will they get points deducted straight away if this comes about?
Will they even get points deducted for going into administration?
I know Livi and Dundee both did, but seeing as this is Rangers will they change the rules?
Even with 25 points taken off they'd still be in the top 6!
:faf: :faf: :faf:
This is the best news ever. As Rangers themselves have lodged the papers, one would assume that administration is now a given. Journos in London tweeting the tax case verdict is imminent too. Liquidation next hopefully.
Funny though this is does this mean that the huns will effectively be debt free within a few months, 10 point deduction means pretty much hee-haw to them.
IMO they've gained the amount of points they had by cheating so they should have all the points they've earned taken off them
Can someone clear this up for me? Might be wrong, but can't you sign players from teams that are in administration outside the transfer window? I think that happened with Dundee... Not 100% though...
:faf::faf:
Hopefully everyone's keeping an eye on Companies House for Mr Whyte setting up new companies.

what are the chances of the SFA allowing this?
Can't believe i only used 1 smiley. Here is some more:

What happens when a club go into administration ?
http://sport.stv.tv/football/scottis...dministration/
10 point deduction - would still keep them in 2nd - but basically give Celtic the league title.
Europe is the next issue - would they be able to get new licence to play next season ?
This is not the end of Rangers - but the power and money they have had over the last number of years is going to shrink massively.
Probably a good move by them, they wont win the league anyway - and they coulnd't win it next season starting on -10points
and they will be second this year
some punishment......
Very good points. I bet theres a blockage in the bogs a the SFA with the amount of shiote thats been dumped after hearing the news. My guess is the SFA will invent or magically find some clause that prevents them from being deducted points and i dont mean Santa!! :taxi for Whyte and Fat Sally :bye:
Lots of sweary words from their fans. :greengrin

Not much point, because only Celtic could afford to buy their first team players (and they already have a massive squad). You would need to get someone else (ie the FA) to agree to open their window.
I think this is also a different case in the sense that Rangers are going into administration because of a one-off hit (the tax case), rather than their longer-term difficulties. Selling one or two players on the cheap isn't going to fix the fact they will owe HMRC up to £50M.
I daresay the footballing authorities in Scotland will try ANYTHING they can to help the Huns. I'd prefer it if the Yams went burst first, as they wouldn't give a toss and then would have set a precedent making it harder to assist the Huns. Now, if they do everything they can to help the Huns, Los Yambolinos could also be assisted by that precedent, before they 'review' the rules and 'get tough' with the Stirling Albion's and Dunfermline's.
From one melodramatic hun: "Not even joking, I might hang myself if true."
:hilarious
"The only way we can get through this is if we don't point fingers. We unite as the greatest support in the world, which we already are.
Those who wish to abandon us are free to go. But don't think of coming back when the sleeping giant rises.
For Rangers! "

Jambos must be absolutely bricking it!!!:cb:cb:cb

ooops, I think that's exactly what they have done, - surrendered to Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs!
GIRFUY ya f****** blue nosed bigoted, cheating bassa's :na na:
I thought they were applying to go into the Premiership. Did I misread 'premiership' for 'administration'?
This will take the shine off the Diamond Jubilee, shirley the gubiments at Holyrood and Westminster will have to step in.
GIRUY WEEGIE TRAMPS.
I think it only fair that henceforth Rangers fans should sing: "Goodbye! Goodbye! - we have to leave you now........"
I'm trying to avoid being too happy about this news just yet as there's no doubt at all the SPL will be bend over backwards for them. The time for celebration will hopefully be when the HMRC verdict is delivered.
Dear Huns,
Goodbye & good riddance!
Even in Administration, surely HMRC would be the largest creditor so still more than able to extract their pound of flesh from Rangers carcass?
Jim Whyte trying no to cry his eyes out on SSN :faf:
My fiance's parents are taking us and my parents to hospitality at Ibrox on Saturday.
Going to be REALLY interesting to see what the atmosphere/protests are like!

Courtesy of twitter. :faf:
Whyte will be busy shifting the assets into a new company and leave the creditors, including HMRC, to sing for their money.
Would the SPL dare to challenge that and refuse to admit Rangers 2012 FC into the league ? I doubts it.
Has chick young been put on suicide watch yet??
How much do the Huns still owe on the Wallace deal?
10p in the pound would be about the best the Yams can hope for..........,
:tee hee:
Compare this thread to the Suarez one. :hilarious
Deadline Day Jim is even wearing his funeral suit on SSN!

I wonder what's happened to the Jelavic money and the 4 seasons mortgage of the ST's.
Whyte's probably siphoned that away.
The Arabs are due circa £100K from the Huns on Wednesday (their share of the gate for the cup game last week).
