With respect, Warburton was clearly out of his depth and his lack of class showed that. In 10 years time nobody will remember him as a football manager. He claims he had a brilliant career in the City so he should probably go back to that.

However, he was working for a new club with ideas above its station and an angry, ignorant supporter base. A weak man like Warburton is going to be too easily swayed by such things.
