I had a wee chat with him when he was about 17 after a cricket exhibition in Scarborough, my team were there on tour.

We, me and him, discussed his batting style, about how it was important not to let the bowlers take control, how to disturb their line and length and I encouraged him to be a bit more flamboyant :agree: - the boy hasn't looked back since.
