Yasssss, welcome Ryan.
One down three to go.
Didn't see this one coming... Should that have been in the bingo thread 😀
Welcome to Hibs Ryan
Brilliant, welcome Ryan and good luck to you. Hope the flood gates open now and we can get a few more in. GGTTH 👍

Welcome to Hibs Ryan.
Great news Ryan. Let’s show the Hibs fans how good you are
Welcome young man. Now to show the rest of Scotland how good you are.
Great news. Really hope there is an option to purchase at the end of the season.
Announced as soon as the paperwork etc completed.
Worth the wait, imho.
Delighted with this.
Happy with this.. well done Hibs..
Can I just say well done Neil Lennon in convincing him to come to Easter Road. There would have been a host of clubs wanting him back here and every other support outside Glasgow (maybe Patrick and QP) would be made up by this signing.
Nice one. Welcome Ryan.
Great interview on Hibs TV
Hopefully this young lad can propel his career and us up the league. Great signing if even for only 6 months. Apparently Flo mentioned big Marv is looking like his younger self and getting fit so. A good balance will be important in midfield. Marv, Mallan, gauld and Allan sounds good. Although all of these guys play through the middle. Who out wide?

A start. And a good start.
Welcome Ryan, f*** them up.
Quality over quantity
Welcome to the Hibs Ryan. Hopefully you will enjoy your football at Easter Road, and bang a few in.
Welcome Ryan!
An astute signing by Neil Lennon.
Brilliant signing for Hibs, young hungry and I for one can’t wait to see how well he does with us.
Maybe just me but I can’t be arsed with loan signings. Just putting players in the window for other teams.
A great signing, a young player with bags of talent. Roll on next week.
A bit of a coup for Hibs I feel, really looking forward to seeing him realise his potential at ER.
Welcome to Hibs Ryan.
Finally!
Really happy about that. I remember when he was at Dundee United one of his teammates was talking about his footballing brain, after a game when he got an assist they asked him why he didn't shoot himself. Apparently he'd spotted the defenders step had taken him slightly off balance stopping him from being able to intercept a cutback so he played the pass.
Impressive split second decision making.
Good signing
Bem vindo.
Looking forward to seeing him play for us

Welcome Ryan 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
Welcome aboard wee man :nlgwa
Welcome Ryan Gauld.
If he is still anything near as good as he was at Dundee Utd, then we have got a real star in our hands.
:aok::flag:
Welcome to the best team in Edinburgh
Looking forward to seeing him play, just hope he doesn't get injured!
Hopefully another 3 or 4 to come in the coming weeks.
:hyper
Looking forward to seeing what he brings to the team.
Looking forward to seeing him play.
If he's half as good as the hype then he'll be some player.
Check it out, he even speaks Portugese. Obviously he's been there for four years but still impressive!
Very impressive.
It's one thing being able to speak a foreign language, it's quite another to be able to understand someone speaking to you in a foreign language, especially if that person is speaking in their local dialect or saying certain words in their own slang which a non native speaker may not necessarily pick up.
Most Scottish footballers don't play abroad, never mind learn a foreign language. Fair play to him and being able to speak Portuguese will stand him in good stead later in life when he's looking at career opportunities after he's finished playing.
It hasn’t worked out for RG in the way predicted, but there’s no doubting his talent. However, we have to be clear that this is a football rehab job, and those don’t always work out. But when then they do and a genuine player starts to perform at the level of their ability, it’s a fabulous thing to witness. Let’s hope this is a Scott Allan scenario.
Only the 6th largest inthe world which puts it above Russian. Also spoken in Capr Verde, Madeira, East Timor, Macau, Angola and Mozambique to name a few.
It would not be a huge leap and I’d imagine he probably does speak Spanish so that combined with Portuguese and English is pretty good coverage.
Plus He’ll be able to swear at Scottish refs and get away with it ;)
Has a got a song yet?
The obvious one is to the tune of Spandeu Ballets ‘Gold’ but for many that’s been retired after Rob Jones left
Bit of Northern Soul

Please no baby shark.
The Rob Jones "Gold" song should stay retired for our cup final scoring and winning legend of a captain....imo.
Portuguese is the 9th most commonly spoken language in the world, using the most recent estimates. It has a not too dissimilar number of speakers as French and more speakers than German and I'm assuming most people would consider being able to speak either of these languages to be beneficial.
Obviously the number of Portuguese speakers is helped by the large population of Brazil but it is also the official language in eight other countries worldwide and widely used in many others.
Due to Brazil's size and influence in South America, Portuguese is widely spoken as a second language in several other South American nations and is an official language of the South American trade bloc.
Due to Portugal's colonial past, it's also an official language in countries in Africa and Asia so it's certainly a language which has a global reach and I think that with Gauld being bilingual will help him when he's looking for work after he finishes playing.
Can I just clarify something.
Does being able to speak Portugese make him a better player?
If so, that's obviously where I went wrong, as I tried to learn Spanish when I was young.
Oh since you signed
We now have the magic that is Ryan Gauld
With dreams of Cup Glory
I am told
Oh Ryan Gauld, Ryan Gauld
Time for the Rob Jones song to resurface?
Something based on Heart of Gold by Neil Young? “We crossed the oceans for a Ryan Gauld”
We're missing a trick if we don't try to get Scott Brown to play beside him so we can sing "Gauld and Brown".
Could I just make a suggestion.
Before deciding what song we could sing about him, could we maybe just wait to see if he's actually any good?
I remember when Gauld initially moved abroad it was mentioned that he was getting a Portuguese language coach for evening lessons.
Ryan Gauld DOO DOO DOO DOODOODOODOODOODO
Depends what website you read.
He'll be alright if a mob fi Mozambique want to sign himhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d39a51e61f.jpg

In his interview today he very much speaks of his experience in Portugal in the past tense. Suspect he's been told he won't make it at Sporting and wants to come back to Scotland permanently. Hopefully he does well and we can negotiate a deal.
Daily Ranger reporting the Scottish Messi should make his debut today “ subject to international clearance”
Anyone know if this is through?
Looked good today.
Excellent touch and vision.
He looks a real good signing off that performance.
Was brilliant
Think we should just enjoy him while he’s here, can see a lot of teams interested in Ryan Gauld at the end of the season
