I was convinced that was that and it was 115 in a row. Shows how much I know.
To be fair, I only stopped being convinced in the 91st minute on the day of the tie.
And are they bitter? You'd better believe it:cb
I have to admit I thought that was us done. I never even watched the Tynie game, was out with the wife and got in, turned the tele on just as we got the corner for the equaliser.
Even going into the replay after coming back for two goals down I expected us to lose. Last years team was truly special to have so much character and so much resilience!
I had yaks on my Facebook laughing about getting a bye. It just makes it sweeter looking back.

Always a lot of bravado on the message board with Hearts being touted as favoured opponents by many, but by the same token there would have been many sinking shoulders when the draw was announced. As is often the case with away to Hearts, among the first questions were "what time does the Roseburn/Murrayfield Hotel open?" and the draw became more appealing by the day.

Our family yam texted me after the draw was made saying another 5-1. I offered him a bet on yams at 2/1 against which he declined.
Bottler came back at half time offering me same price the draw which I took to annoy him.
We went double or quits on the replay 😁 and I haven't seen or heard from him since! Yams don't pay. His partners a hibby!
