How many corners were there tonight?
I had over four goals and over ten corners but it didn’t come in and I thought there were over 10?
I have to say, this squeezing into my seat is getting nippy, a few years ago I could spread my fat arse over 2 or 3 seats, tonight there wasn't a free seat in my row
Great night at Easter Road, good performance some good goals. Mallen looks great, Flo has started where he left off, great time to be a Hibee, but I would like the spare seat next to me back, or I could lose a couple of stone :greengrin
Job done. Should have scored more.
Didn’t learn anything new. A replacement for Dylan and another striker are the priorities for me.
Good result but they were very very poor side. Only player that looked not bad was their left winger.
Highlights??
Best game I've seen from Slivka, definitely looking much better. Again, only against very poor opposition though but here's hoping.
Well done fellas
:flag:
World cup has been cracking but glad real football is back!!
Excellent result meaning the tie is over. Kamberi and Boyle stood out. Good competitive work out but we’ll need 3-4 good players in before the end of the transfer window.
You must be so satisfied haha. I'm with you on this one. Was so confident we'd pump a 4th place Faroes team that I booked Athens along with many others. Hope those that mocked us for being cocky enjoy the rise in flight prices.

Apart from the early goal (which I missed as I was cutting it fine as usual and the game started early for some reason (?)) I thought we took a while to settle down but once we did played some lovely football. I know they aren't exactly a great side but they were fit and physical (overly so in several cases), and technically decent. They're also 15 games into their season while we are still a long way from getting up to speed.
The fact they went down to 10 men had little impact as they just camped in and around their box when we had the ball - we were already 4-0 up (I think) and it was damage limitation time. We're 2 or 3 players short of a squad which has the strength of last season's but hopefully we'll get there before facing the Greeks.
We should've scored more goals but I'm happy with a 6-1 win in our first game back in Europe.
Good, solid and professional performance. That's how to put away a poor side like that.
Disappointing to lose the goal but we really could have hit double figures tonight and seeing your top striker get a hat trick is always a good sign.
Looking forward to the next round, I'm sure the Greeks will prove to be a far harder nut to crack.
